Didn’t live up to the ambiance
May 2018 • Friends
My sister and I walked by and thought that the place looked so cool so we stopped in. Food isn’t really they’re forte, it’s more of a wine tasting place, but we got burgers and a bowl of soup. It just wasn’t tasty, and way too expensive to justify the lack of taste. The burger was the best part, and was cooked perfectly and had a big ole hunk of fresh mozzarella cheese on it. It lacked flavor, though and wasn’t worth the cost. The soup really didn’t do it for me. It was lumpy and bland. Eating slices of sliced white bread was more enjoyable, so that’s what I did. I’m not one to waste food, but this time I couldn’t even eat half. I saw flourless chocolate cake on the menu and got so excited. It’s a personal fave of mine and I make it at home. This dessert was just two slices of fudge about the size of the little laughing cow triangles for 7€. I was upset but ya know. Wouldn’t go again, and wouldn’t recommend

This shop doesn't exist anymore..
Aug 2016 • Family
We would like to visit this place but now in this place is there another shop...
We asked the owner about La dolce vita, but he said it is not exist anymore and said nothing else... he didn't propose us something although he had also some chees, wine and prochutto... it was strange, but it is ok. We bought already some bottles of wine in another shop

What a nice surprise!

A local guy who value local products and makes wonderful jams . Sounds simple ? But know that it is just perfect! In a small shop you can feel the whole spirit of the Tuscan ! It's magical and wonderful! In addition, you can taste countless cheeses , jams , wines ... impressive !

This is a beautiful shop in San Gimignano, off the main streets. Nice set up, tasters available and great attention to detail! There are lots of Tuscan products to choose from so it is perfect for buying gifts. Luca is very friendly, knowledgable and happy to provide you with information.
We can't wait to eat our marmalade!!!

Captivating little store
Jun 2015 • Friends
I stumbled into this little shop with some girlfriends during our afternoon in San Gimignano earlier this afternoon, and it is such a gem! Luca, the very cute and charismatic store owner, was so welcoming and knowledgeable of all his products. I'm so excited to try my new bottle of Chianti wine! The olive oils and jams were so delicious too. Must see. Thanks Luca!

If you go to San Gimignano, take the time to find this store. The proprietor, Luca, is a charming young man, and speaks English very well.
His specialty is marmalades and spreads. I walked out with some very tasty treats !
