Special white wine option in San Gimignano. Easy tasting prior to the city visit. If you like white it’s a place we recommend

This winery / restaurant was an absolute gem.

Firstly we undertook a quick tour of the winemaking facilities by a knowledgeable young lady and then we enjoyed a very nice wine tasting accompanied by a terrific light summers lunch which consisted of a barley salad (vegetables and a small amount of sausage) followed by a platter of sliced cold meats and cheeses and finished with a delicious cold nectarine. (The barley salad was similar to a rice salad)

All for €23 per person which is outstanding value.

The wine tasted was also very good for this region.

It is a highly recommended experience.

We had the best time at this winery on the tour and tasting given by Luana, she was wonderful! We learned so much and you can really tell that she has a true passion and appreciation for wine and what she does.

We had set this wine visit up alternative to our normal "small batch wineries". This is a great place to see how a larger production winery runs. We toured the facility luckily at the time they were bottling. They bottle wine approximately 2 weeks out of every 2 months. They rest of the time it is aging in casks or barrels. This location produces about 1 million bottles per year. After the tour of the facility, we were given a taste of 5 of their wines.

My husband and I were returning from a long day in Florence (since Viator canceled on us last minute.) We saw this nice little winery and made a random stop. What a treasure, it made our day. Specifically Luana was delightful. She spent time with us, explained each wine, and told us about the area. She was great. We are by no means wine connoisseurs, but we really enjoyed their best white wine. Highly recommend a stop here!

We had Luana as our tour guide for Teruzzi, but until we found her perch; we almost turned back. The people at the winery were totally clueless about telling us how to find the small cottage where she was waiting. Thankfully, we did finally find her only to be directed back to the winery that we had started from. Oh well. It was not Luana's fault. She gave us an excellent tour and was quite knowledgeable about not only the wines but the machinery and the history of its development. Luana is a charming and fun person who made our afternoon very worthwhile, and we would definitely recommend her.

With your coworker Luana we experienced an excellent expert not only regarding the wines of teruzzi e puthod, but also a best-informed elucidator of the past and presence of wine-making in the vernaccia - and the chianti - gallo-nero area. It was a pleasure to listen to her and to discuss some actual questions with her.
And, by the way, she is a genius in wine selling: you feel happy when you leave, and you feel still happy, when you remember that day enjoying a bottle of your wines back home.

This place was a little hard to find with few signs for directions, though that is common in Italy I found. The wine here was average but priced really well. The staff were friendly and poured wine despite a storm coming in. If the weather was better, it would have been nice to enjoy more wine sitting outside with the lovely view.
