Such a great experience and so much fun! We had David as our guide and he did an amazing job explaining everything and putting up with all of our questions. The mountain dog, Suleiman, was also a big plus of this tour. He came along the whole time and was so cute. I can’t recommend this place more and would definitely come back if I travel to Italy again.

Hard to pick a favourite part of the wine tasting. David gave a fabulous tour through his knowledge and enthusiasm regarding the wine and vineyard surroundings. The wine was paired with amazing food from start to finish. I highly recommend you take the time to visit here. Be prepared to walk the property as he shows us everything from the cellars to the vineyards.

What a fantastic wine tasting experience we had at this place. David showed us around the winery and told us very interesting information about the wines, olive trees and their way of wine making. After the tour we went for the actual tasting and we had amazing wines in good company. It was accompanied by nice anti pasta, cheeses, bread and the very nice olive oil. We had a great afternoon and would like to recommend Fattoria il Piano!

Cannot recomend highly enough the 2 hours spent with David and other guests in the farm's tasting conservatory with San Gimignano as the spectacular backdrop. David our host clearly loves his subject and being so knowledgeable about wine and local life both educated and charmingly entertained us as we enjoyed a walk around a traditional vineyard and 5 wines to taste along with bread and the farm's olive oil. Best part of our 2 weeks in Tuscany and being able to stay a few nights on the farm/vineyard an added bonus. Thanks so much David from Patrick

A great pleace with å spectaculare wiew. The host David had great knowlede about both history and wine. He also had a great sence of humor. Both the wine and the food was great. Good value for money.

Our group of 4 rented a car from Florence and drove to Il Piano for our 11:00 wine tour/tasting. David was so interesting and knowledgeable as he showed us around and explained the wine making process and the property's history. Then we had a wonderful spread for lunch with 5 different samples of delicious wines. The views of San Gimignano are gorgeous! I would highly recommend!

One of our favorite all-around experiences in Tuscany. The host was friendly, knowledgeable and led an all-around great experience. We got to see the property and sample wine along the way, followed by gorgeous views of the countryside and an excellent and filling meal of meats, cheeses, salads and of course great wine! Visit this place! David was an incredible and knowledgeable host. The steep drive up means (probably) no tour busses, so the vineyard is quiet and the experience genuine. The food served with the wine tasting was phenomenal, and with 6 full glasses of wine this experience was a ton of value for the price. It is by far the best vineyard experience our group of travelers have had.

We visited for a tour and tasting with our 2 children. David was a fabulous tour guide, not only did we learn about their wines and production of them but about Italy and the area San Gimignano itself. We were able to try many wines during the tasting as well as local food products. It is in a beautiful quiet setting with amazing views of the area. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic wine tasting! Really relaxed, friendly and rustic atmosphere. David gave us lots of interesting information about the wines, the industry, Tuscany as a whole. Great setting, sat down with the group, tastings wines and local produce - delicious food too!! Would definitely recommend! If you cycle there, make sure to get e-bikes, and David let us know only the back brake on the way down - it’s a steep hill!
