This cooking class was super amazing thanks to Katia's kindness and knowledge. The food was super good and we got new information and recipes that we never was aware of. She surprised us with every dish and was very informative. It was simple but beautiful. Katia also gave us a cooking book so it was really nice. The most beautiful... More

I took a "girls" trip to Italy with my Mom and three sisters. We had such an amazing time. Katia was friendly and we had so much fun with her. We prepared bruschetta, panzanella, two types of pasta, and saltimbocca. Everything was delicious! At the end of the meal, we sat outside to drink our coffee. The view was breathtaking.... More

Very poor menu, no proper facilities in the kitchen for a cooking class. Only one cooker. Most of the cooking is done only by one participant or by the instructor. Big disappointment.

Dear Ronit, I'm really sorry that you didn't enjoy the cooking class and we weren't what you were looking for. We open our house to the people that would like to know how we really cook in italian family everyday and for special occasion. You prepared 8 recipes and if you would like to make more, as you know, we... More

My husband and I had a great time cooking simple, easy to prepare, and delicious Tuscan recipes with Katia and six other guests. We moved between the casual dining room and kitchen making bruschetta, panzanella, homemade pasta, two sauces, and my favorite, saltimbocca. I truly felt like family. This was not in some test kitchen. It was in their home... More

This cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip in Tuscany! Hosted at the Il Vicario B&B, and led by the amazingly warm and welcoming Katia, we couldn’t have imagined a better introduction to authentic Tuscan cooking. Surrounded by aromatic rosemary bushes, we were greeted by Katia in the sunny courtyard (what a view!), and this idyllic setting... More

Myself, my husband and our 18 year old twin daughters had a really lovely time with Katia. We were taught how to make pasta and many other Tuscan dishes. Katia is very patient and set the level perfectly for us. I thoroughly recommend this experience. Prior to our class Katia also organised for us to go truffle hunting with Francisco,... More

We had a fabulous day learning how to make several different types of pasta and amazing sauces. Katia really knows her stuff and her English is really good so she can answer all your questions. The day is not too serious, lots of friends popping in and having a chat over a coffee or glass of wine. The atmosphere is... More

I had a great day at Katia's cooking school, less than ten minutes out of San Giminiano. We made fresh pasta, two types, and Katia told us so many tips about cooking fresh healthy Italian food. We made two types of bruschetta plus veal saltimbucca, finishing with a healthy delicious tiramisu. We were a group of six altogether and Katia... More
