We attended this cooking class with 2 others from Australia, we had the best time and learnt alot about cooking a typical Italian meal. I highly recommend any one going to Tuscany to pay a visit to Katia and enjoy her hospitality

My husband and I spent a fabulous four hours with Katia in the kitchen of her charming Bed & Breakfast. We were lucky enough to be in a class with three other interesting couples. Although we started out as strangers we ended up having a wonderful time together. I have never learned as many recipes in any single cooking lesson.... More

We booked this cooking class at il Vicario based on positive reviews from Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Fulvio is a gracious host and together with a couple from Australia, we were tutored in the history and methods of Tuscan cooking. I am not a cook, so my descriptions may be a little off. We each took turns sautéing... More

Katia was extremely welcoming to our adult family of five and taught us some very easy ways to make some traditional Tuscan dishes. The cost was very reasonable in comparison to others I had researched, and since it was only us in the class, was very individualized and "hands-on". She was a lot of fun, and we want to take... Small class - 6 total. Basic "starter" Italian cooking info. Made our own pasta, as well as 4 other dishes. Nice pace - Chef Katia is accomplished and funny! Setting is in the middle of the Tuscan countryside and breathtakingly beautiful. This is what I thought an Italian cooking class would be like. My husband and I are not accomplished... More

Enjoyed this casual class. He went to great length to explain how they cook locally in Tuscany. We made two pasta dishes, a dessert and a chicken dish. The whole experience was fun and we got to enjoy all of the delicious foods we prepared.

The visit to Katia and Fulvios 'Il Vicario' cooking experience was one of the most memorable experiences of our holiday in Tuscany. The course was relaxed and informative - a wonderful day. The food we cooked was excellent and the ambiance superb. A day to remember. Thank you Katia and Fulvio.

My husband and I took Katia's beginner's cooking class and it was so much fun. We were amazed by how such simple ingredients made such delicious food! Katia taught us how to make handmade pasta with two types of sauces, bruschetta, a salad, and a meat dish. Everything was excellent. Katia was so sweet and made us feel right at... More

A wonderful experience! Fulvio was an amazing teacher with a great sense of humour to go along with his fantastic cooking skills. Everyone was involved in all parts of preparing our meal, even our teenaged boys were making noodles and stirring sauce. The dishes we created were delicious. Fulvio's confidence in these easy to follow recipes has inspired me. Tomorrow... More

Best part of my trip. In a BNB just a few miles outside of San Gimignano I took a cooking class. I was traveling with my sister, but they grouped us with another family of 6 people. I learned so much and had such a great time. The cost was 90€ and that was for the class (hands on) 4... More
