we passed this landmark on the wayto our hotel: theres an information board in italian/german that tells you about the history. decent size ruin but not in a good state, aka nothing to write home about (or if you like rocks maybe it is?)

It is at the end of the main street in Pisa. Near leaning tower of Pisa and Porta Luca. It is easy to miss but probably the oldest site in Pisa. Really worth viewing.

These are apparently the only visible ancient Roman remains in Pisa. They're easy to find close to the Piazza dei Miracoli at the Porta a Lucca, but you could pass them by and dismiss them as more modern due to the red brick appearance. You...More

You never know what to expect when in Italy. As I was walking towards the tower, I came across the terme. It needs some repairs but it is awesome to see roman buildings everywhere!!
