This small church is located at the far end of Piazza Martiri della Liberta. The impressive Gothic facade contains numerous while marble columns with an intricately designed spoke-like focal point. The interior is sparsely decorated and cold. There are several large stained glass windows near the altar. The large paintings were quite dark in their composition, made more difficult to see with the little light inside the church. Worth a visit for quiet contemplation without distractions.

The Gothic church was built in the second half of the 13th century, ordered by Saint Dominic for the friars of his order. It has a magnificent facade made of white and grey marble with Gothic loggias and the central rose window in the upper part. The interior was renovated in the 18th century, after a fire, and hosts several very interesting paintings and sculptures, worth visiting.

A smaller church compared to the duomo but has this charm one can admire. It is a bit dimmed from inside, quiet, clean and very good place to rest, meditate or pray. Really good energy

While this church does not appear (to me) to be it full original glory, it has an amazing interior. I had a little difficulty finding it, I would recommend a good detailed map.
