There are not many specials things there. But with a free entry, you can visit the inside also. I've shared a car with friends, otherwise hard to reach.

Basilica romanics di San Piero a Grado is a church located near Pisa, in the place, where according to the legend, St. Peter landed in Italy, so it is a very important place for Christians. Nowadays, there is not coast here, because in the last twenty centuries, the coast go to Marina di Pisa. The building is a big Roman church built in the 11-12th Centuries in the old port of Pisa. If you enter, really it is impressive. Very interesting place for history-lovers.

The Basilica is worth the visit. It is located in San Piero a Grado, about 4.3 miles (7 km) west to the center of Pisa. There are also a few small restaurants located in the area.

This is okay as churches go. Set in the shadow of the tower it is difficult for this to be anything but a sideshow.

This is a lovely church, not spectacular but very nice. There was no charge to get into the church. There was no photos allowed.

I would not go out of my way to see this but the area around Marinadi Pisa is very scenic and not on the beaten path. There has been excavation and makes a claim to be the place where Peter first stepped ashore in Italy.

There’s is so much to see here, if you don’t have a small child in tow! The colours are so bright and the detail is unreal for the time period it was created in.
