Beautiful garden, attention to detail. Place surrounded by greenery offers a few hours of relaxation for a walk or reading a good book al fresco. Visit Recommendation. Admission is free.

Nice neighborhood park adjacent to ancient walls and fort (Fortezza di San Gallo). I accessed the park via a small bridge at Via di Fortezza. There is a grassy area which seems to be used when showing movies (a large screen was set up). The playground was popular with children and parents. There are plenty of shaded areas to sit and relax. Some signage tells of the history and recent archaeological excavations that have taken place here.

A lovely little park which we enjoyed for its old 'bits' - ancient walls, gateways and towers and atmospheric aqueduct/viaduct. A very pleasant, quiet stroll.

Nice little park near to the river. Was cool and shady on a red hot day so nice to spend a few minutes here to try and cool down. Nice sitting areas and the park is enclosed by historic walls.

This park is a small oasis of cool and calm in a hot busy city. A real plus is the open air cinema that shows films each evening (starting at 9.30pm). The screen and sound are excellent and it even has a bar!

Like most of my discoveries, this was accidental ;) I was following the city walls, fulfilling a desire to see the old walls and the different gates. I had walked to the end of the main walls, crossed over the river and to my right I spotted more wall. On closer inspection I found these gardens behind the wall. Wonderful space, occupied by residents and worth a visit for the history of the area. Romans et al

When we visited Pisa it was about 32°C outside, and this lovely garden provided some well needed shade and was a charming place to take a walk in. There were lots of benches and some pick-nick tables in the shade. Bring your food and drinks, no drinks for sale there

We stumbled over this by accident and stayed here for a while. A lot of students come here to enjoy the sun and spent time with friends. It looked to me as if there is gear to have a summer open air cinema. Try to find out more about it if you go there ein summer.

Beautiful public park, with playground, old walls and ruins, water fountains and large areas for family picnics. You would never know you were in Pisa!

A nice little park inside the walls of an old fortress. You will encounter mostly locals here.

There is playing equipment for the children. And a large lawn area where movies can be shown in the open air.
Which all in all leaves limited space for trees, flowers etc. So don't expect a 'real' park with lots of trees, ponds and the like or you might get disappointed.
