Interesting to see a tower that is so slanted. You can't get that perspective from pictures. Its a beautiful city to visit.

Countless times I have read that The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a bore and that is overrated... I have to completely disagree and say the whole area around the tower is beautiful and you will never forget it. I would say to give yourself...More

The leaning tower of Pisa has been on my bucket list for a very long time. We enjoyed it from the outside. We were on a cruise excursion so we did not have time to go inside. But the outside fully met our expectations. I...More

Expect to spend a few hours here. The tower tour needs to be booked in advance. With any purchased ticket includes entry to the catherdral. Beauitful walk to the tower to take red line bus from outside pisa centrale station.

Your visit will be along with hundreds of other tourists ticking off one of their bucket-list to-dos. They will photograph themselves ‘holding up’ the Tower, and that is fun to watch. But the buildings themselves are worth the visit for their enormity and ancient engineering...More

If you don’t want to climb it you can view it at any time but I think that it’s worth the climb in which case the last ticket might be 5.30 but I’m not sure about that.
