The scientific institute with the huge library is dedicated to the history of science and is an homage to “the father of science”, Galileo Galilei who was born in Pisa. The city has a long tradition in hosting the scientists and organizing their various activities and meetings. The institute is a wonderful contribution to the science and exploring its history, located in the old Palazzo Specola.
