We have been visiting Lucca every year since 2012 and always come back to Alain and his boutique. I strongly recommend to visit him to taste and buy some great wine and olive oil. You won’t regret it! His knowledge and dedication is ekstraordinary, and as a customer you always feel welcome.

La Boutique del Golosi is a quaint and friendly shop in Lucca selling locally sourced olive oil, pasta, wines, and more. For me olive oil is the main event. If it is the very best of the season you want, look no further. No gimmicks, no hype. For recommendations based on a vast knowledge of the region, grower/producers, and seasonal variations, visit La Boutique del Golosi and ask for Alain.

This charming shop is my favorite in Lucca. Alain, the owner, is passionate about the local wines and olive oils of Tuscany and is eager to help the customer find just the right taste for you. He offers tastings, so you can try before you buy and go home with something you like. I've also ordered products to be shipped back to the states many times. Can't go to Lucca without a stop at La Boutique dei Golosi and a visit with Alain.

The proprietor, Alain, welcomes visitors into his shop, enviting them to sample some wine and/or food products. No hard sell. My wife and I visited the shop numerous times as we had become friendly with Alain. He has a wide selection of wine and other products. If you're in Lucca, go see him!

We found this shop accidentally while wandering through the lovely streets of Lucca. I'm so glad we stopped to look. The owner of the shop is wonderful - very knowledgable, very friendly, and absolutely fluent in English. He let us taste several fabulous olive oils and wines. Once he got a feeling for what we liked he was able to guide us to some superb choices, but he was very low pressure. Also, he didn't try to lead us to buy the most expensive items.
We didn't buy much because it was early in our trip and we were very worried about space. I didn't realize he shipped or I would have gone crazy here!
If you love foods and wines, this is a must visit!

We visited this charming shop just a week ago and spent time with Alain tasting various products. Alain has an excellent selection of many Italian goods and is so knowledgeable about everything in his shop. We wanted to send some olive oil and balsamic vinegar home and Alain made this so easy. When we arrived home, our package was waiting for us. We now can continue to enjoy the best that Italy has to offer. Spending time with Alain was delightful and we will add his shop to our "must do list" for our next visit to Italy.

This is the most enchanting shop! Alain is so welcoming and enthusiastic about the foods and wines of the region. Based on our likes he made recommendations that were spot on, the wine exquisite (we need to order more), the Limoncello the best we've had, and the truffle slices, love! As we were headed back to a cruise ship, he wrapped everything very well. Even though everything survived the flight home, I should have gone for the shipping offered, too much worry between weight and breakage.

Bought an excellent Chianti today. Lovely man owns the shop. No hard sell and great conversation. Recommended if you fancy some good wine or olive oil to take home

Popped into this little shop just to browse but got talking with the French owner Alain who invited us to have a taste of anything that was open. The wines, vinegar and truffles we tasted were superb. Ended up buying some wine which we drank on the balcony of our hotel that night, and some 12 year old balsamic vinegar which tasted divine, can't wait to get it home to try it on some nice tomatoes or strawberries. The shop is an Aladdins cave of traditional Italian foodstuffs and I would highly recommend a visit. I will regularly check his website in future for anything new and/or interesting as he ships goods all over the world.

We found this place on Trip Advisor and decided to stop by. It's is a cute little shop in the heart of Lucca. The owner is great and we spent about an hour chatting with him. He let us try three day old olive oil, multiple balsamic vinegars, truffle spreads, wine and chocolate. He has a great selection and plenty of smaller items for gifts. Everything is very well priced and he will arrange shipping for you. Love it!
