They always have the trendy exhibitions!

The entrance fee is a bit expensive and I think that the bookshop can be better! But the exhibitions are well chosen, well thought and well prepared! It is worth a visit.

Small but brilliant museum. I was luck to visit whilst have an expo on De Chirico and the italian surrealists that went to paris. The staff was really nice and helpful. Do not miss, check what they have as you might be missing on some opportunity.

This is the contemporary museum in Lucca and it is a "must" to visit. The exhibitions change often and the museum is very small that it makes for a pleasant experience going from room to room. If you are there around lunch time, don't forget that they have an amazing restaurant inside the museum; L'Imbuto with the incredible chef, Cristiano,... More

9,- € for intrance. I feel this is too much, what for to see. All in all the variety and the number of exhibited pieces is low. All though, I took a spark of inspiration. Don´t expect too much if you saw the MoMA/NY.

This regional museum is a gem. It exhibits traveling international exhibitions of the highest quality while showcasing the local community's artists. The excellent curatorial staff assures the highest quality of these exhibitions and the selection of the best local artists.

Raining and cold it was a nice respite. Though small it is interesting and different.we saw a show of Italian painters who lived in paris during the 30 and 40s.

the Lucca Center for Contemporary Art is a rather recent addition to a town with much architectural significance. The rotating exhibits are always fascinating and feature various media and two and three dimensional art.

A nice change to see some contempory art to contrast with the medieval and reaissance art elsewhere in the town.

First time in this gallery and if this is the quality of other exhibitions then we will return. Photos were a great mixture. The humorous - Brighton beach in the 1950's with men paddling in their suits, a nudist wedding in Kent, pictures of dogs and other animals in unusual settings and then he will hit you with a stunning... I stumbled on this great center by accident and was uplifted immensely by the photographs of the great Elliott Erwitt. Great space well used. Go There
