Nothing too special going on here. We were staying right on the piazza and felt it was well located for everything we needed. Apparently this piazza was originally a canal which was filled in ages ago, hence the large expanse of.... nothing. Great for gatherings...More

This is the biggest square in Livorno and it is just huge if you consider the size and population for this city.

Big open space with a statue at each end. The area is wide open. Also a great place to watch people, sometimes a little road rage. Italians are quite loud, expressive and aggressive when conflict arises.
