Great place for a stroll along the seafront near the port. No traffic and plenty of seats to sit and watch the ferries to the islands depart or catch brides and grooms having the wedding photos taken.

Jo is a delight at this casual, artsy bar. Our nearby apartment didn't have wifi as advertised, but Jo was gracious in allowing us to sit at her outside tables (with ocean view) so I could work. The coffee and panini and Spritz were all fabulous, and I the evenings, often inspired musicians will gather for jam sessions. Love the... More

This place has something magic starting from the location until the black and white tiles that gives to this "square" on the seaside a very good point of view and a nice place where to spend couple of hours reading or walking along, alone or in company. It's just a great spot!

We stayed at NH Grand Palazzo hotel which is just across the promenade. It's one of the top famous and must visit tourist spots. It's excellent for evening stroll or cycling or just sit on the bench and enjoy the breeze and sea waves. Watch the ship sailing in the sea or a sun set.. Awesome place. Also saw people... More

Lovely place, the biggest terrace on the sea I've ever seen....clean and well-kept. Here you can have a walk, relax or - sometimes in the evening - listen to good music. Several events are held here, mostly in summer. If you go to visit Livorno take the time to have a walk on this wonderful terrace....perhaps with a good ice-cream!

We enjoyed the strolls around and the sunsets were outstanding. Well worth the effort to visit even if you don’t have a reason for being there.

Nice for an evening stroll/sunset drink. Relaxing atmosphere. A little bit of space to sunbathe and swim but wouldn't recommend it as the water is rather dirty.

This terrace struck me as the Italian version of a seaside boardwalk. It's large and a perfect place to stroll and see the harbor. But why is it there? It looks like it's the beginning of an urban plan that's waiting for the retail/hotel/casino/whatever structures to show up.
