I chose Walter as our driver based on reviews and we were all so GLAD we did!! While on a cruise stop in Livorno, we hired Walter to drive us into Tuscan countryside so we could see Leaning Tower of Pisa, have lunch in Tuscany, and visit a small local winery.

Having Walter drive us was amazing, it felt like he was family or a friend. He was very prompt, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. He introduced us as we went into restaurant to confirm our reservation and he joined us for our winery tour (he didn't drink of course!!). Our interactions with the Italian people we met were all so special, Walter included!!

I definitely recommend hiring Walter, you will not be disappointed!!

Walter was prompt, extremely friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing experience! We were in Tuscany during the off-season, but still wanted to experience the beautiful wineries. He went out of his way to make sure that we were able to do this. Even when most were closed, he made sure 3 wineries were open for us. We had an unforgettable time and will forever be grateful to Walter for making this such a special day for us!

Walter- Livorno, Pisa Tuscany and Wine

Myself and two college kids toured with Walter from the Cruise port in Livorno. Walter was awesome !!!! Great timely communication with him during planning . He set up an awesome tour for us which included- Pisa, Tuscany Wine tour and San Gimignano visit. He knows the area and was able to offer his knowledge about the area. He was fun and enjoyable to spend the day with. At the end of the day he offered us dinner recommendations that were spot on and told us to call if we needed any help with translation or transportation after we left him. Couldn’t ask for a better guide and highly recommend his services.

Private driver Tuscany

We were a family of four people and we hired Walter for two days. One day he picked us up in Porto Venere, and drove us to Lucca and forte di Marmi. The second day he picked us up at the Livorno Port, and took us to Florence. We asked him to arrange a lunch for us in a winery and he did so brilliantly. We had a wonderful two days with him and we would highly recommend anyone going to Florence. Or anywhere in Tuscany to contact Walter he is the best He made our trip most enjoyable

Walter is very efficient, always on time, the vehicle is perfectly clean, smooth drive.
Walter knows everything in the area and guide you wherever you wanna go in the Livorno.

Walter picked us up from our cruise ship and took us on a day tour to Pisa, Florence and to a stunning winery called Dianella. Walters friendly nature and knowledge of the area was top notch. The lunch was superb and we loved every moment. Thanks Walter

Tuscany-First Time But Not the Last Time

We had a wonderful time thanks to Walter. He was informative, funny and very generous with his time. We went to two medieval villages, Volterra and San Gimignano. Both were marvelous sites but the highlight of our tour was our visit to Fattoria Le Fonti for a tour of their winery operations, then lunch with a tasting of some wonderful wines. It was relaxing and like spending time with old friends. I highly recommend Walter. I hope we can come back to the area again.

This was an unforgettable experience. Walter was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and took us to see everything we wanted. His attention to detail is incredible. The wineries he chose for us to visit were like pictures on a postcard. I mean who gets to eat lunch in a 12th century tower? Highly recommend!! 10 stars

Extraordinary Tuscan Wine Tour

We were in Tuscany off season and on a Sunday. Walter somehow finds historic wineries to open up for us, give us tours and feed us an amazing lunch!! He was generous with his time and his knowledge of the area. I would recommend him to anyone. Looking forward to using his services again in the future.

A great private cruise excursion

We are a family of 5 (two parents and 3 kids ages 12-16) who came to Livorno on a stop off the Norwegian Jade. We only had one day so we booked a private van with Walter Occhini. Gabriele was our driver. He met us at the pier. The van was spotless and air conditioned. There was even Wifi! Gabriele was wonderful. He was kind and professional and shared a lot of information about the area and the sights that were were seeing. He took us to Pisa first and then on to Florence where he drove us by the sights, had some stops for pictures, and then gave us a map and made recommendations where we should walk. We had purchased tickets to the Accademia Gallery ahead of time and he helped us get there on time for our entry. Overall, it was a great day and we are so glad we did this private tour. It was easy to book online, the staff was easy to contact and very responsive. Gabriele was a great driver and guide. Thank you so much!
