Anna is an exceptional person and a great cook. We found ourselves very in tune and it was a great pleasure to meet her and her son. An amazing experience.
A must do cooking class if you want to learn the secrets of the real Italian cuisine.
Especially all the tricks that you can only learn from an Italian "Nonna" for preparing a perfect dinner in less than 30 minutes.
Really recommended

I spent a great day together with this very passionate chef. The day started with an interesting food shopping at the market (Sant'Ambrogio market); although I'm an italian girl I've enjoyed it very much. Anna will guide you to buy the perfect ingredients for the success of your recipe!
With stops in Florence historical center, then the chef have guided us to the cooking school, where we've learned how to cook traditional pasta and different italian sauces! It was amazing to discover all the secrets.
I've found this activity on Tourizan website.
I reccommend to try it if you are in Florence ;)

My friend and I heard about Anna on a Facebook page called GLT and I looked up the website on google. Anna took a while to get back to me which made me worried but she was just on vacation. This is just what I imagined an authentic cooking experience in Tuscany would be like!! Anna met us at a cafe with her English speaking friend Stephanie . Anna knows very little English but her energy is just amazing to be around, she is 87 years old and gives off the energy like she is a 25 year old! We stopped by the local market after having a njce Firenze breakfast (espresso and biscuit). We picked up some porchini mushrooms and ricotta cheese at the market, so cool just to walk through there (we tasted a few different meats and the Parmesan cheese was to die for. Right after that Anna drove us up to her villa is Bagno ripoli (she is a fast driver :) Such amazing views of Tuscany and I was just in aw. We cooked 3 different sauces and lemon ravioli with lemon sauce. Anna also gives the recipe on email afterwards. I would love to meet Anna again, this memory is amazing and I hope I can remake it just like this !

This was a high point of our stay I think everyone will fall for the love of cooking that Anna has, we did .My daughter and I had a great day with Anna and Celine, the day started with a coffee and cake then to the market after Anna drove back with the produce while we walked the short route though the Historic centre with Celine. We were very impressed with the smart school kitchen and started to learn the right way to make pasta. I think I am a good cook and was very impressed with the skill and speed of Anna and her tips for cooking. After being told my daughters pasta dough was better than mine I really welcomed the Prosecco and anti pasta before we ate our 2 pasta dishes with wine Anna then produced a pork dish and spinach and pine nuts then a semi freddo.then biscuits and cofffe ..The next day I sort out Bartolini `s shop and got a cutter and pasta mill So you can teach an old Dad like me some new tricks I have maked several batches of the semi freddo and pasta now We loved our lesson and recommend it as a great to do in Florence.
