Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.

Hidden gem
Oct 2019
Close to the Truffle restaurant, the store is located in a small alley. Very local, working since 1955, with only 10 workers in a small factory, making a few bags per day by hand. There is only one store in the world, which is this.

Design-wise, very classic and no frills. My wife knows about fashion a lot, and she said the bag - if produced by a major luxury house - should cost at least a few thousand dollars.

The people who served us during our shopping were very kind and humorous. The whole shopping took more than 30 minutes, but they did not look tired serving us. We had an opportunity to see almost every bag in house.

Overall, a great experience, and would like to recommend if you're in Firenze.

Cute Little Store
Sep 2019
We went into this little shop because I've seen some of their purses online. They have cutest collection of bags, and of course my favorite was the bamboo handled ones. The staff was really friendly. i wasn't sure which color to get, and ended trying 5 different ones, and the sales person was super patient and lovely. I ended up getting one in green with gold hardware (which i have a picture:) it's super cute, and had already worn it couple of times.
Price is also reasonable - of course compare to the super high end Italian brands. Quality is really good as well! I wish i have time to explore all of the little craft shops in Florence (only few so far), they are all so interesting!

Leather bags for the ladies
Apr 2019 • Couples
My wife already made some major purchases in Paris, which I thought was bit much for all the hyped up brands. Thank god she only purchased one leather bag in this shop, and it was less than four hundred Euro. The lady at the shop was really informative and courteous; not pushy or snobby liked some high end shops. I was just glad that at least I don’t have to shelled out another $5000 USD for a tiny purse. But, what is that old saying? Happy wife, happy life.

Reasonable prices, great quality
Aug 2017 • Friends
There are many, many, many shops selling leather crafts. Most of the craftsman shops are pretty expensive, differentiating themselves from the street vendors. This shop has some creative and quite attractive goods, but at reasonable prices.

It's conveniently located, and the staff is friendly.
