Don't look anywehere else. This trip was wonderful. Luca is a fantastic guide. He is so well informed about all aspects of Italian life, culture and history. He is also very accomodating and both trips we did with him he was able to adapt to our requirments. He clearly knows the area very well as there were several road closures on the day of our trip. At every point he consulted us about what we wanted to do and what options were available. The restaurant he recommended in Vernazza was the Belfort which has spectacular views and lovely food. Ask him to book as it is extremely popular. The Mercedes SUV was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for such a long trip about 10-12hrs. A second trip to Siena and a wine tasting with lunch was just as exceptional. We understand Luca is happy to personalise any trips that you would like to do. We found it very good value for money. Thank you Luca for sharing about your life and your passion for wonderful Italy.

The Mercedes van was clean and comfortable. Luca was an excellent driver and guide, sharing interesting history and information throughout our drive. He modified our trip to meet our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stops at 3 of the villages, including a nice lunch at the 2nd one. There were pluses and minuses traveling to Cinque Terre in the off-season. We knew we would be traveling by train, rather than boat. While it would have been nice to view the towns from the water, we felt we that we had plenty of opportunities to take pictures and enjoy the views. So we didn’t feel like we missed much in that regard. The towns were very quiet with few businesses open, which limited the things to do in each town. However, we were able to explore without dealing with the noise and crowds typical during tourist season. We were often the only ones walking the streets so we felt we had the towns almost to ourselves and could easily take photos without having strangers in our pictures.

In my opinion, the best thing about visiting Italy is not the food, not the fabulous scenery, not even it's lovely culture or history. It's meeting and talking to the Italian people who are alive and kicking today. And Luca tops the list of the nice people I have met and talked to in Italy. All five of us in our tour felt lucky to have had Luca as our tour guide for our 12 hour tour. He certainly knows his history, and one can learn a lot from listening to him, and be sure to ask him questions because questions lead to other interesting topics to discuss. Like most Europeans I have met, Luca is well informed about much more than history. He's interested in and up to date on global current events, movies, music, just to name a few things. We were picked up in a spotlessly clean Mercedes mini-van for a comfortable, scenic ride to Cinque Terre via La Spezia and returned via Pisa. Luca is a safe and competent driver and we never felt the slightest anxiety on the highway. While in Cinque Terre Luca gave us free time to wonder the streets on our own to shop, take pictures and have lunch as we wished. I recommend Luca without any reservations. His tour was my favorite part of our entire visit to Italy. My wife and I are thinking of returning to Florence for an extended stay and Luca will be part of those plans. Thank you, Luca!

Using Let’s Andiamo for our day trips from Florence was possibly the best decision I made for our Florence trip. From my first contact with Luca, I knew he would take care of us. He was professional and courteous and very friendly. He customized itineraries for us, recommending great places to stop for photos and to eat. We traveled with 2 small children, and Luca ensured that they were taken care of. The vehicles were top-of-the-line, and he made sure the car seats were there for the children. Our first trip was to the Tuscany area, and we visited Montepulciano, had a tasting and lunch in Montalcino, and visited a family-owned winery. This was quite possibly the best tour we have been on, especially visiting the winery where we sampled the wines and toured the facility led by the owner-operator of the vineyard. We will never forget this experience, and we are thankful Luca had arranged this phenomenal trip. Due to the weather, we had to change our plans for our second tour at the last minute. Luca offered alternatives, made last-minute arrangements, and considered our needs even up to the time for us to leave for the tour. Not many tour guides would have spent this much time helping his customers, and this is what sets Luca apart from any other tour guides I have used in the past. We had another tremendous tour to Pisa and Lucca, even getting tickets to climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa at the last minute (again thanks to Luca). I cannot recommend Let’s Andiamo and Luca enough for your tours in the Florence area. We will definitely use his services again if we ever get back to the area. Our 2 trips were the highlights of our stay in Florence.
