A great street including Leo Leather Firenze!
Feb 2020
We enjoyed this street so much that we ended up spending extra time here and postponing our visit to the Uffizi Gallery to the next day!

It's filled with character and charming shopfronts. We enjoyed healthy juices and light snacks at the Tamarindo Juicery, and indulged in super-smooth gelati at Gelateria dei Neri. And it wasn't just the food that got us!

The bags in Leo Leather Firenze caught our eye; they were so unique. Several hours later, after having enjoyed getting to know its warm & friendly owners Leo & Gina, we left this fantastic shop loaded with enough goodies to sink a ship.

Great little street in Firenze!
Oct 2018 • Business
I have been coming to the Via de' Neri each year for the past 20 years and have seen it evolve from a neighborhood street into a bit of a tourist mecca. It is great for a stroll and of course, for the extension from the Uffizi into the Santa Croce district. Take time to find it and visit!

Leo Leather Firenze - Purchase of a leather handbag
Sep 2018 • Couples
My wife bought a quality handbag at Leo Firenze Leather. However, after leaving she found she had left her glasses there. We left early the next morning on our Trafalgar Tours bus for Rome and then travelled home to Canada. Had a problem with the clasp attached to strap on the purse. Contacted Mr. Bachchar El Hallat. He had the glasses there and he forwarded them and a new strap and clasps to our address in Canada. This was above and beyond what I would expect as a tourist in a a foreign country. He and his company are to be commended for their integrity and customer care.

Well done and my wife is enjoying the hand bag and we have even better memories now of Florence. Quality products at a reasonable price without the glitz and salesmen pressures

Many nice little shops of many interesting things, shoo shops, also little trattorias, near the place de la Seigneurie, in the heart of Florence.

Via de' Neri is named after a famous old family. It;s a lovely street with many cafes, gelaterias, restaurants and other shops. It's worth taking a walk along this street and just enjoy the day.

Accomodation
Jun 2017
Just stayed at the Dante Apartment on Via Dei Neri 33 run by Vincent. Fabulous hospitality, great service and centrally located. Surrounded by all the local must see including a 5-7 minute walk to the Duomo. Also surrounded by restruants and an easy walk to the best leather market in Florence. Right next to the best sandwich place in Florence rated number 1 in the world.

Small historic street where you find the famous Gelateria dei Neri
Mar 2015 • Couples
Via de Neri is a street located between Uffizi and Basilica di Santa Croce in the city centre of Florence. It is named after a historic Florentine Nori family and is a nice street to stroll if in this area during your holiday.

There are a few historic buildings along Via de Neri but mostly what you see isa busy street today with quite a few local restaurants, bars and convenience shops for local residents in the area.

A popular stop is historic Gelateria dei Neri, which is perhaps one of best stops for gelato in Florence. We have had nice stops here over the years, finding it a good place to take a break and enjoy a gelato between visits to attractions at Piazza del Signoria and Piazza dei Santa Croce if you are planning to combine these sightseeing areas during your trip.
