Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in...

Small group and private fully guided bike tours (single and multi-day) in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. You'll pedal quiet back roads around Florence, Chianti, Siena, Val d'Orcia and elsewhere. Personalized service with pick up and drop off at or near your hotel. All fitness/skill levels and fully van-supported. Several rides to choose from for varied interests, including wine and olive oil tasting, gelato tasting, historic castles and off-the-beaten path medieval villages. First-rate equipment (and electric bikes too!). Ask about our new cooking class ride for foodies!

Florentine Marco Vignoli, a former bicycle racer, founded I Bike Tuscany. His wish is to share with you his passion for amazing scenery, adventure, great food and wine and, of course, biking. It's his belief there is no better or more exciting way to experience the singularly beautiful region of his homeland than from the seat of a "bicicletta," and so has worked hard to create some very special and unique itineraries that we're sure will have you believing the same.

We look forward to your joining us for a day (or trip) you'll keep in your heart, take home with you and never forget.

What a Way to See the Tuscan Countryside

The scenery is spectacular, the wine tasting interesting and the time in Siena enjoyable. Marco, the owner, is very knowledgeable and makes the trip both safe and fun.

Shout out to Marco who gave us great bikes (specialized hybrids) to bike the Florence soft ride to Siena .. A beautiful start in the Chianti hills and a 2 hour ride to Siena . We shortened it on account of time constraints so missed the wine tasting. Not a detail was overlooked . He acted as tour guide and... More

We did the gelato bike tour with Elizabeth and had the best day of our vacation. This tour is a real highlight and allows you to get a taste of Tuscany. The bike ride is beautiful and easy. The gelato making is a real treat. In addition we visited a couple of Tuscany towns and a gorgeous winery. I bike... More

We did the ride from Florence to Siena. We were picked up in the middle of a rainstorm at the train station in Florence, with our luggage. Paula was helpful and got us on our way quickly. We were driven to a small town and met up with Graham, the Aussie, our fearless leader. The ride was beautiful, challenging and... More

My wife and I scheduled the Downhill to San Gimignano ride in September and had arranged to meet the group in Castellina. However at the last minute we had an issue with our transportation into town, but Paula was so accommodating and picked us up at our hotel. The ride was great and she stopped at several points along the... More

My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a fabulous two week trip to Italy. The highlight was our bike tour with Marco and Jodie was biking through Val D'Orca! Great biking, breathtaking scenery, interesting conversation and delectable dining. They thought of everything!

We did the Siena soft ride and had a great day. Guide was great, bikes were great, wine was great and scenery was great! The only thing stopping this tour from getting 5/5 was that as an inexperienced rider, the soft/beginner option really didn't feel as beginner friendly as I had hoped.

Amazing experience. I would love to do this tour again. Elizabeth is a great guide. We loved the Gelato place and Siena was gorgeous. The bike equipment was high quality which made the hills much easier. We had an easy pickup from our hotel in Florence and flexible drop off. Highly recommend.

My husband and I took the wine and bike tour through the Chianti region. Elizabeth was our amazing tour guide. She was so knowledgeable about the area and the wine, she was calm and gentle, and was so helpful throughout the trip. The ride itself was a little more difficult than we expected, but the views and the wine made... More
