My family of five spent 2.5 days with Isabella touring Florence in November. We had a great time. Our flight in had been delayed, and our luggage was lost, so it was great that we had someone prearranged who could let us take a breath, relax and just enjoy what the city had to offer.
Isabella's knowledge of Florence and the artists who you intersect with there is superb. She is good with kids, and is able to modify on the fly as needed. I particularly enjoyed touring churches in Florence with her, and seeing art "in situ."
Our time was efficiently budgeted as well, because of her knowledge of the city. Not every site is open every day, so it would have been difficult to try to arrange an itinerary that works prior to actually arriving. Working with Isabella beforehand, we knew going in that our time would be well-spent.
We spent six days in Rome after we left Florence, but we all agreed afterward that Florence was our favorite, and Isabella was a big part of that. I recommend her unhesitatingly.

We loved our time spent with Isabella! We (two couples) did a private 2-hour tour of the Uffizi, followed by a 1-hour tour of some of the highlights in the centre of Florence. Isabella is Incredibly knowledgeable and so warm and fun in her delivery. She is passionate about the art and history of her city and area. She puts a great deal into her tours and we would highly recommend her as a guide. Grazie mille, Isabella! We so enjoyed our tour!

We engaged Isabella to spend an afternoon with us exploring artisan workshops in Florence— places tourists may not find or be invited to visit. She put together an amazing itinerary that allowed us to visit 5 workshops (etching, paper making, brass, mosaic and framer/gilter. She was so organized and knowledgeable, as well as a delightful person. Highly recommend her her to guide you around this beautiful city.

We found Isabella via an online search and she was the perfect tour guide for a morning walking tour of the Florence sites. We had previously visited Florence's museums and churches and we were looking for something a little different this time.
Isabella immediately understood our request and guided us to some interesting sites over a 3-hour tour of the city.
She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions. She patiently answered our questions about the Medicis as well...as we had recently watched the Netlflix series and wanted to understand more.
We loved our time with Isabella and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to see and understand more about Florence's history.

We loved our tour of the Uffizi with Isabella! We got an early start to beat the crowds, and she met us at our accommodation which was a great way to learn more about Florence while we walked. She was able to so eloquently and interestingly explain the Uffizi paintings and their secrets, and made sure that we had the time to see all of the highlights of the museum in our three hour time together. Having her insight while enjoying these masterpieces made them all the more special - there was no question we asked that she didn't have an answer to with clear expertise of the subject matter. Our one regret was not booking more tours with Isabella during our stay, and we have already recommended her to our friends visiting Florence next year. We look forward to meeting her again in the future!

Taking the 3 hour Uffizi tour with Isabella was absolute highlight of our trip to Florence! Our small group of 3, had people in it with no previous knowledge of art and some with basic knowledge and we were all thoroughly absorbed from start to finish. Isabella was fun, generous with her time, had incredible knowledgable - which she made very accessible - and picked out the best pieces for us to see in a relaxed way that we could really enjoy! We felt in very safe hands with such a competent guide and did not feel rushed. A wonderful way to spend a morning - cannot recommend highly enough!

Isabella is a fantastic guide. Our family of four (kids 10 & 13) enjoyed her company for a full day through the Ufizi, Galleria Academia, and a walking tour of Florence. She’s extremely knowledgeable, comfortable engaging the kids, arranged for smooth entry into the museums, provided great insights into the history of the city, the artists and the art. We highly recommend her!

Brilliant and very knowledgeable Florence guide,Isabella spent 2 days guiding me and my daughter who is studying History of Art. She organised for us to look at specific Renaissance works of art and was very knowledgeable about them all. She speaks excellent English and I would highly recommend her as a guide either to see specific art or for a more general tour. Her communication before we arrived in Florence was excellent too and nothing was too much trouble.

Isabella made our experience at the Ufizi a memorable one. We are not typical museum-goers and the Ufizi seemed like a daunting experience, but Isabella offered so much knowledge and purpose to the tour that it became a highlight of our time in Florence. What made her an expert was her ability to take the time to highlight the most important pieces with the most interesting background/story (rather than overwhelming us with too much info); she quickly figured us out and tailored the tour to what piqued our interest on the fly.

We just had 2 half day guided tours with Isabella: one to visit the Uffizi and one for a stroll around the city centre. She is super competent you can feel she is really passionate about art, history, Florence and her job. Further more she is a really nice and pleasant person and you enjoy spending time with her. She has been very flexible and able to involve my son (7ys) in the visit which is not common. I could not think of a better guide to explore a city.
