Mariella's shop in the Oltrarno was recommended by my Airbnb host. Both the lady and her clever establishment are very welcoming. She took the time to speak with me in my not-so-perfect Italian, and encouraged me to sample three different wines in order to find the ones I preferred. I ended up choosing two bottles: a Montalcino, and a Bio (sulfite-free!) Montecucco, which are both medium-weight Tuscan reds. They'll go perfectly with the turkey I'll be cooking for American Thanksgiving this week. There is a small fee of .50 to use her bottles, and if you bring them back, you can either reuse them, or get your "deposit" back. What a fabulous idea! I'll definitely return for the great service, prices, and atmosphere!

My girlfriend and I visited Florence a year ago, and we haven't forgotten about his place. It's charming, set apart from the hustle-and-bustle of the main city, yet an easy walk to the Arno or Boboli Gardens. Bring your own empty bottle of wine and watch as it's magically filled for a few Euros. The shopkeeper is incredibly sweet and has a number of selections from her wine taps.

We found Il Santo Vino while visiting Florence last year. The owner was fabulous. She speaks English which is very convenient. We love the concept where you bring your bottle and have it filled with some great wines. I don’t think you can ever beat the price. The wine we had last year was great and we are back again in 2018. She will let you taste all the wines so you can pick your favorites. I highly recommend going to I’ll Santo Vino for all your wine purchases while in Florence.

Il Santo Vino was recommended to us and did not disappoint. You can purchase affordable delicious wine by the bottle and also on tap by the bottle.

Found this place on a recommendation by a local. It's a tiny little wine shop. The owner, Mariella, is great. She takes the time to understand what you like and then can recommend a wine. She had about 15 from which to choose. These are "every day" simple wines, so don't expect huge things, but they are fun and easy to drink. Yes, the prices were 2-4€ per bottle. Unbeleivable. She recommended two that I might like. I got both. Including the price of two bottles, I did not bring my own, it was 7€. The bottles are 0.50€ each. Great place.

This charming, friendly little wine shop was just down the street from our hotel in the Oltrarno area, not far from Piazza Spirito Santo and the Pitti Palace. It was recommended by our host, and what a delight! It's a full service wine shop, with a complete selection of bottled wine and other local food items (pasta, olive oil), but the real deal is the bulk wine! Taste a few samples from the taps. The owner will help you find the right one for you, and then fill a glass bottle and cork it right there. Price for 750cl? 1-3 euros, plus 50 cent deposit for the bottle (return the bottle to get your deposit back or bring it back for a refill). And it's really nice wine! We tried four different reds and enjoyed them all.

This small shop in Florence's Oltrarno neighborhood was an excellent find! A dozen or more wines are available and plain bottles are filled on the spot. We tasted several to find our favorites and the shopkeeper gave us excellent descriptions of each, explaining how they compared to other better-known and pricier local wines. There are some great "everyday" Tuscan reds, including some organic (biologico) and sulfite-free varieties. The wine was incredibly inexpensive - 2-4 euros a bottle, plus a 0.50 euro deposit. This shop is well worth seeking out!
