The pinocchio tours for families and kids is well worth every penny. You have a tour guide that usually has kids of their own, they explain in educational language, they play games, find secret things. They are also very flexible and understand you have a family and need to take care of many things. Highly Highly recommend for family travel

We had the most amazing time in Sorrento and Positano thanks to a private family excursion through Pinocchio Tours during our stop at Naples a week ago. Our wonderful driver, Guido, and lovely guide Martina (who came along last minute, but added so much to our experience) were top notch from pick up to drop off. They took very good care of our kids, ages 4 and 16, making our journey through Sorrento and on to Positano absolutely unforgettable. We were very concerned about time to explore because we had a previous negative experience with our cruise ship leaving part of our family behind, so Guido was very attentive to time and itinerary/route. We could have never gotten to see the sights we did without Pinocchio Tour's private excursion. Thank you all so much!

Emilia was a great tour guide, and we enjoyed seeing the Piazza di Santa Croce, Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, and Accademia Galleria with her! By the end, the kids were getting tired but Emilia was great about recognizing that!

We had such a wonderful private tour. The tour guide engaged our 3 and 5 year old so well, and at the same time providing some facts that we adults could learn and find interesting as well. Made it very enjoyable for both kids and adults! She had a fun game/scavenger hunt for the kids, had them engaged asking questions, prizes all along and just really made it fun for them. What a great experience. We did another tour company that said they were kids focused and did not have such a great experience as this one. The tour guide really does make a difference. I would definitely do a tour with this company again in a heartbeat! Only thing I would suggest is to discuss pricing for any tickets in advance so you know how much cash to bring with you. We were scrambling to find a place to get change in order to pay her back for the tickets to the Galleria Academia (to see the statue David). If we had known ahead of time we would have made to get the right amount to have ready. Not a big deal though, just a tip to make it easier for others. The tour itself we absolutely loved though and it was totally worth it!!

We booked two tours online with Christiana, the Vatican and Coliseum with our children (5 and 9). All in all, she was responsive to our emails and made the booking process easy. While it felt weird to send our booking info to the tour company, everything was handled properly and we breezed through the tour entrances to both sites. Also, Christiana warned us that booking two tours on the same day would be tiring, and she was right, but only having three days in Rome, we wanted to make the most of our time so it did not bother us. The morning of our tour, we met Rosario at the Coliseum metro stop. She was very easy to find. I felt like our time at the Coliseum and the forum was brief, but I was thankful because it was very hot. Rosario was sweet and engaging with our children. In the afternoon, we met her at the Vatican museum entrance. The Vatican was crazy packed. Had it not been so crowded, hot and such a long day I think the kids would have enjoyed the Vatican more, and I felt like she could sense she was losing their attention. However, I was surprised with how much information they retained and we enjoyed our time with her. We would use this company again.

We booked a walking tour of Florence with Pinocchio tours. Michela met us promptly at our flat and started our tour at the Accademia. She was very insightful and informative. We then proceeded to the Duomo which we were only able to see from the outside. She then took us around the streets of Florence and really made it come alive finishing at the Ponte Vecchio. It was just the right amount of time for my daughter who was starting to get a bit bored by the end of the tour. Overall a good tour to get a taste of Florence.

We really enjoyed a tour of the fabulous Coliseum in Rome with Alessia, who went to great efforts to make the tour engaging for our 6 year old son. We would definitely recommend the service!

We booked this at the last minute, about two days before we arrived in Rome. Our children are a boy of 7 and a girl of 10 and we worried that a visit to the Colosseum might be a bit dry, hence booking a child specific tour.
The only time available was 8.30am which worked out well as it meant the temperatures were comfortable. Our guide was Francesco and we met outside the metro station at the Colosseum - easy to find.
Francesco was very well prepared, with picture books showing the sites as they are now, but also with an overlay to show how they would have looked when in their prime. He also had the genius idea of presenting the children with small gifts every now and then - it guaranteed their rapt attention! There was a running competition to answer questions about the sites and roman life in general which was very effective.
The tour itself was perfect - engaging for the kids and my wife and I learnt quite a lot despite having been before without a guide.

We consider the tour to be very good value, and this was entirely down to Francesco. He was presentable, polite, knew how to make the tour entertaining for children and above all, knew his subject inside out. The value is illustrated by the fact that my 7 year old son completed a full three hour tour in hot weather and really didn't want the tour to end.

We'd book a tour like this again without hesitation.

Many thanks Francesco!

Our family of 5 (kids 11, 7, 5)took two tours with Pinocchio tours - the Vatician and Colessuem tours. Both were incredible experiences for both adults and kids. We loved it - our tour guide Francesca was FANTASTIC. Would recommend for all families wanting a fun, interesting learning experience.

We absolutely loved our tour of Florence with Cecilia! She was amazing with our 9-year-old son. Cecilia kept our son engaged the entire tour. She asked him questions, offered points and gifts with correct answers and played a game at the end of the tour. I was so impressed that he got all the answers right, but it was because Cecilia had kept him interested the whole time. We had the 3-hour city tour plus the visit to the Galleria to see the Statue of David (highly recommend adding this onto the tour).

If you are traveling to Florence with your children, I highly recommend booking a tour with Pinocchio Tours! You won't be disappointed!
