Great 1/2 day bike tour. The best tour operators and guides ever. After we commenced the trip two of us realized we would fare better on e-bikes and they were able to make the switch. The tour guides were patient and pleasant. A fabulous day!

Our self-guided tour was fantastic! We were equipped with detailed maps and top-shape electric bikes. With rain in the forecast, we were also given ponchos and helmet covers. The tour took us through beautiful countryside and the recommendations for food stops were delicious! A nice way for our teens to explore Tuscany and get out of the city. It was a wonderful experience!!

One of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The two-day bike trip from Florence to Sienna was truly an adventure through beautiful wine country of Tuscany. But not only that, our guide Ale provided tons of context about the area to really help us understand it and enjoy it. They planned an amazing route that I could not have dreamed of if I tried. They also sought our input for potential tweaks to the trip that allowed us for some cool moments. We added e-bikes to our trip which allowed us to choose how strenuous we wanted the trip to be. The wine, olive oil, and food tasting at La Pia was a particular highlight, and WeLikeTuscany’s connection with the winery made it special. Everything we had to eat through the trip was incredible. The place they had us stay overnight was one of the coolest places I’ve ever been, a beautiful villa on top of a hill surrounded by Chianti wine country, serving excellent wine and food thanks to Poggio Al Sole. I can’t overstate the impact Ale had on the trip. Not only was he extremely knowledable, but also fun and friendly, making riding around with him an awesome experience. I would recommended WeLikeTuscany to anyone. It will provide you with one of the most amazing, beautiful, unique, and enriching experiences of your life.

This tour turned out to be one of our most memorable experiences of our entire 10 day trip in Italy. My husband and I did the full day E bike tour out of Poggibonsi. It turned out we were the only ones on the tour, and the company didn’t try to cancel or reschedule it but instead gave us VIP service. Our guide Alessandro was very easy going and considerate and his love for Italy and biking shines through and makes him the ideal guide. He made us feel like we were out exploring the Tuscan countryside with a longtime friend. He took us on a new route with beautiful countryside and amazing scenic views and some fun riding down the windy hilly roads of Tuscany. We visited the winery, Casa Sola and got an in depth tour of their entire process. Maria, at Casa Sola, is so knowledgeable and passionate. Again it was just the two of us, and we are novice wine tasters, but avid learners when it came to the wine. I feel like she spent extra time with us going over the process and the wine tasting. We appreciated the wine so much and the passion they put into the process we ended up buying a case! I enjoy road biking, but was thankful they talked us into an E bike with those hills and humidity and it was especially nice after all the wine sampling and delicious food to have a little help on the ride back. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Our 4 hour private bike tour with Alessandro was like a dream! We’re a family from Boston and after having perhaps over-scheduled too many walking tours through museums and churches in our first and 1-week trip to Italy, this was an amazing and welcomed Tuscan countryside tour unlike any other. The sights of the countryside were dreamy and will forever be imprinted on my brain. I’m fit but I’m not a biker so i upgraded to an e-bike and loved it. I want to take it back with me. For me, it made the trip just so enjoyable. The food, olive oil, and wine break in the middle was delicious, and Alessandro impressed us with his knowledge and passion for history, geography and nature of the region. What a perfect half day. Grazie!

We did a tour with Alessandro and our two teenage boys (16 and 13). Right out of the gate Alessandro was engaging, funny and informative. He has a comprehensive understanding of the history of Italy and its various regions as well as an understanding of the environment. His ability to incorporate facts about the natural environment as well conventional history kept everyone engaged and facilitated lots of discussion as we cruised the countryside. We spent 2 weeks across Italy and this was one of the highlights and we are eager to work with Alessandro and the team on a longer bike trip during our next visit. This is a can't miss excursion if around Florence.

My friend and I LOVED our bike tour. It was an all day ride to Fiesole with a stop at a olive oil and wine producing vineyard. The views were beautiful and our guide Leonardo was the absolute best. He kept track of the group really well (half of us were on e-bikes and a few on regular bikes), was super knowledgeable, and was all around a great guy.
Tip: unless you're an experienced cycler, pay extra for the e-bikes on the more advanced tours. I couldn't have done the ride without the e-bike and even though it feels like "cheating" it allows you to do harder hills more enjoyably.
We had a blast and I'll do this again when I come back to Florence.

Our family of 5 adults went on the Active full day bike tour. We rented e-bikes, but some in our group were persevered with little motor help :-). The hills were challenging but fun, despite the rain. Our guide Beppi (sp?) was great. He talked to us about local history and grape/olive growing in Tuscany. The host at the wine and olive oil farm gave us a full tour and explained how olive oil is made. We sampled several olive oils and had a terrific assortment of bread, meat and cheese to accompany our wine. Highly recommend this tour.

I can't recommend this tour highly enough anyone looking for a fun and different way to see Tuscany and get away from the crowded tourist spots. The full day bike tour was easily one of our favorite days.
The staff was incredibly helpful. I wanted to switch the day of the tour around on account of rain. The front office was easy to contact through whatsapp, and they made the switch without any problem or additional charge. Jack and Andrea were super fun guides.
I rode with my wife, and we did a full day trip with Giacomo (Jack) and Andrea. We got to great views of the city, rode up through places we never would've seen otherwise and topped it all of with a stop at Rodolfo's villa where we got to try the wine and olive oil made right on site!
Since it was just my wife and I they let us do a little extra riding even when it meant that they had to power up a super steep hill next to the old walls of Florence. The conversation with these guys at the villa was great as we talked not only about the history and culture of the location but about our personal travels through South America and elsewhere.
Can't wait to go back to Florence and do it again!

Our family of four (30-65 yrs of age) booked the Florence & Taste of Tuscany bicycling and Fiat 500 tours. Both experiences greatly exceeded our high expectations. Our three tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and professional. Each guide had a different personality and style which only added to the fun. Of all the beautiful historic and delicious offerings Florence has to offer, these We Like Tuscany adventures will remain on the top of our favorites list. Can’t wait to come back and do it again!

We have rented a villa outside Florence in July for our whole family and would like to find a great guide that can handle a group of 14 with some your teenagers and 8 adults for either a half day or full day. Anybody have any recommendations?

We would definetly be able to organize this kind of tour for you, we are used to manage big groups, and our guides are great indeed!
For example, depending on where you stay and what you want to see, we could organize a bike or FIAT 500 tour in the Fiesole area (a beautiful town on top of a hill next to Florence, where you can have amazing views of the city) or the San Casciano area (the kingdom of Chianti Classico wine), also featuring a visit to a traditional villa producing olive oil and wine.

Hi! My husband and I will be visiting Florence from 9 to 12 April 2016. Both of us are teetotalers but we are quite interested in seeing the production of wine and olive oil. Do you have a tour where we can experience wine making and skip wine tasting. Also if you could let me know the cost of the tour.

Wine is made in September/October, unfortunately in April there's not much to see of the process, but we always take our guests to see cellars where wine is in the process of being aged. As for oil, we could organise a special tour for you and take you to an oil mill for a guided tasting: there too, thought, you won't be able to see the machinery in action until november.

Hi. I'll be traveling to the Florence area in early July and would like to learn more about your tour. My daughter (18 yrs. old) and I will be traveling together. I ride more than she does, but she's in much better shape than me. So I think we'd be looking for a ride that wasn't too challenging. I'd also like to understand the costs and the timing. We'll be Italian classes from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. each weekday, but we could do a late afternoon or weekend ride.

we would suggest you to take our classic Chianti bike tour, a full-day tour about 15 miles round trip with lunch included, which is not too challenging (price is 84€ for adults and 75€ for students).Our tours can be booked any day of the week, weekends included, so you could take this tour on a weekend.
Otherwise, you could consider taking a sunset tour, a 3-hours ride in the late afternoon with stop for "aperitivo" (itailan drinks), priced at 74€ for adults and 65€ for students.
