Massimo Ravinale is the best place I have found in Florence to purchase silk and wool scarves. The silk comes from Como and the printing quality is excellent. The wool scarves, for both men and women, are also made in Italy. I kept going back to the store near the Uffizi Palace on Via dei Leoni (via Piazza San Firenze) and, in the end, bought eight scarves of various sizes for friends (oh, and a couple of gifts for me!). Elena, who works at the shop, is extremely helpful and very patient and is happy to show her customers all of the different colors. There are several locations of Massimo Ravinale in Florence, but I very much enjoyed Elena's help and expertise. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for the ultimate Florentine souvenir you should visit Ravinale. I purchased 5 scarves on a recent trip - 1 for myself and 4 to give as gifts. Once I returned home and really looked at the silk scarf I bought for myself I decided it is too beautiful to wear, so I will frame it instead. It is a work of art and should be displayed that way! The shop had two exclusive designs (woven, not printed on silk) for around 80 Euros. There is something for everyone at this shop, at every price range.

I just happened to pass this shop after visiting the Basilica of Santa Croce. The scarves were just beautiful and the gentleman in the shop could not have been nicer. He explained about the quality and design of the scarves. I must have tried on at least 8 scarves and decided on one with a scene of Lake Como. The price was 36 euro for a large square silk scarf designed and made in Italy. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. A must stop if you are looking for silk scarves.

You go into this shop because the display of foulards, ties and silk accessories is really interesting... but after you find Ricardo the most smiling and kind person in town, with a lot of patient he takes you into the most fantastic and original collection of their own production of silk ties, foulards and other accessories, and you love everything

The most important apart of the beauty and quality of the merchandise is that it is Italian

I wasnt impressed with most designs although i was hoping to find a few scarve based on TA . Prices about 36 and 60 euro. I asked the owner if there would be any discount in the event of several purchases, as in Venice ws happy to begiven 20 pc discount in a lovely and reputable murano shop. Owner seems offended by this so dont ask. Cool reception if you dont immediately buy but I think hes a bit overpriced apparently as did the two ladies who walked in translated currency and ruled it out quickly.

Dear madame: I Read carefully your review. We are open to any suggestions to help us improve the level of satisfaction of our customers . I would like To bring your attention to the Following points: The manager of our Store in florence( borgo dei greci,19r) is Mr ricardo Rivera , then not the owner. Our prices start from 15 euro to 380 euro ( not From 30 to 60 as stated ). In our Store is visible to anyone the tax free refund Service for tourist for amounts over 155 euros, is a discount of 20%. . . . This contrast clearly from what you said. The prices of our products are highly competitive, we speak of a 100% made in italy products and protect by copyright, behind each product Massimo Ravinale there is a hard Work and research . The review reported comments of third parties of wich we have not had the pleasure of getting to know, and frankly i find it inelegant. We are available in your next trip to florence, to meet you and to understand what really is not liked. And gift you a product Massimo Ravinale. Best Regards Massimo Ravinale

Just one block from one of the most touristy areas of Florence behind the Palazzo Vecchio is this quiet shop, filled with gorgeous silk and wool scarves – both their own colorful hand-painted and well known designer scarves for women and men, lovingly displayed and unfurled before your eyes by the gracious shopkeeper. A great place to buy sciarpe, foulard, and stole (long rectangular scarves, square scarves, and large stoles or pashminas).

I was heading out of the Galileo Museum, heading away from the Arno and passed by this shop. My friend was looking for a silk scarf and found a nice selection of beautiful patterns and colors with a helpful salesperson. One meter squares were 20 euros and the really big ones were 50 euros. I checked out other shops and street stalls and found the same scarves ranged from 25 - 30 euros.

We were directed to this lovely shop by an American who lived in Paris. We bought the most beautiful scarves for a most reasonable price. The designs are great and the quality of silk exquisite. The owner is kind and courteous; it's a "don't miss"!

I was stopped in my tracks by a funky colouring of a scarf orange and pink. I like the absurd mixed with Artful flowers and I have recently gotten into scarves but they must be super light silk as I live in a hot climate.

Since 2016, we have bought 12 Massimo Ravinale's large satin silk foulards and stolas: eight- for my family, and four-for gifts. We discovered the store on our trip to Florence last year; then, twice we purchased the scarves directly with Patricia.

I am writing this review and admiring the newest addition to MR's collection that arrived today. The DHL shipment is always amazing! Two-three days--and you receive your order.

They are fabulous! This time we purchased three stolas-one from the Natura collection and two-from the Gioioso (one of my favorite lines).

We love the colors, quality, and the ease of draping.
Thank you for your help and excellent design. We will be back!
