The address on this listing is for a smaller outlet along the river, not the main shop. It was still a nice place to visit and pick up some beautiful souvenirs. One step in, and very little room for a wheelchair user to maneuver.

This was a real find and we bought a birthday card and a gift. It was expensive, but the personal service was good and the items are all handmade. The bags are also hand printed. We’ll look out for the Covent Garden store when we...More

Walked by on way to Palazzo Pitti and not disappointed. Luciano showed us the marble paper making process ... 5 generations business with a franchise store in Palm Beach, Florida. But a few unique gifts for friends and family back home! Not cheap but definitely...More

The wife and were impressed with the quality of the paper products produced in store. They gave us a demonstration on how they colour the paper and create the various patterns in the back of the shop. There are a number of shops in Florence....More

Just found the rolls of paper that I bought last summer... they are beautiful and I cannot wait to frame them. The shop workers are always kind and allowed shoppers to do their own thing, but also answered questions well.

Wish we had more time to visit. Would love to explore if they offer book rebinding. Their paperwork would look beautiful in some find leather bound editions. We definitely will explore their offerings online.

Beware of trying to visit according to the location on TripAdvisor. There is an Il Papiro there, but it’s not the store that the photos & reviews that generally accompany this on TripAdvisor are of. We visited the store on the bank of the Arno,...More

The material is of the best quality. We've been to the store near Ponte Vecchio, and the kind lady there was superb letting us ask all the questions and answering them nicely and patiently. It is worth a visit. You will surely find something there...More

Hi, it was a short demonstration, just a few minutes. We arrived with a private guide. They were happy to accommodate. No charge. Very nice store.

One of the stores shows small demos. Don't think there are "factory tours" the way you are thinking.
