We visited on a Thursday evening at 11pm- the bar was relatively full and had a good atmosphere. They had an interesting list of cocktails and also made the classics. The drinks were made to a high standard. The service was a little slow and we felt sorry for the one waiter and one person behind the bar running the show.

Very small bar with live music. Rarely a tourist, packed later on in evening, but very friendly service, an the 43 times I have visited, superb bands (typically come on around 23:00 but often dude with guitar prior).

Every day from Thursday to Sunday live music with all the best bands caming from Tuscany and Italy. On Saturday and friday you will find surf, rock'n roll, funky and alternative music with a lot of fun and many many people dancing with the live band. On Wednesday great space for blues music with the famous jam session every fifteen days with the famous local bluesman mr "Bluesboy" Filippo Barontini. Great staff, wonderful drinks, free entrance. You must see!

Good cocktail good service specially thanks to waitress.
But the owner of the bar is unhealthy and mean to with French tourists.
We had ordered about twenty for cocktails, after paying the bill he wanted to throw us out to put other customers in our place while we had not even finished my last glasses
Do not recommend to flee.

Every time i visit NoF I am amused and amazed! This is the right place for an aperitif or an after-dinner drink, a jazz concert or a clubby night: people, atmosphere, location, drinks, music... the Night of Florence is here!

While traveling in Italy as a group, we were always on the lookout to find good live music. It was surprisingly difficult to find! My husband found someone who suggested NoF for after a late dinner. The drinks were good (mine was too strong, but I am a wuss), served cold and with pasta straws, which I thought was a nice touch. My husband is a liquor snob, as he works for a liquor company, and he was pleased with the drinks, so that is saying something! The service was very friendly.
The music was, in a word, excellent! There were two young Italian men onstage, with a guitar and a bass. The first song we heard was in Italian, and it was really good, none of us cared if we could understand the lyrics. My brother-in-law is a musician, and he was impressed with the musicianship of the men onstage. Then they went on to play for the next hour and a half, with a mix of Pearl Jam, Depeche Mode, and a number of other songs we recognized, with us enthusiastically jamming along. We bought a cd; they were called Monkey Ranch. Four guys were on the cover, but only two at the venue. In any case, we loved this place, and wished it hadn't been our last night in town. If you find yourself in Florence and you like live music, this place is WELL worth the visit!

We found the NoF on TripAdvisor, plus got a recommendation from the hotel. The idea was to enjoy live music and relax.
When arrived around 21:30. No one meet us as it is a regular bar. No one was playing music as there was a stand up show going on. We don’t speak Italian and didn’t have any intention to wait until 23:00 for live music. So we left it.

Came across this place by accident on a rainy Friday night. Was going to the much-reviewed La Cité bookshop/bar across the road. The music there was fairly anaemic. I was drawn to NOF by the rockin' sounds of The Flamingos, Florentine surf band. They killed. Not sure if i just lucked out but the music made it the clear winner. The crowd at both places was about 20-30yo hipsters, NOF a bit more alternative, a lot of students I think.

Funny place. Great and cheap cocktails. Great R’n’R band on stage (start playing at 11PM). Bartenders cool and helpful. Excellent location. Great sound. After the band is possible to dance till late. Don’t worry about the “no dance” chart. It is not true. It is allowd.

We're visiting in September, and looking for some nightlife without the crap techno 20-something club sounds. We're an older couple, but very young at heart and love good dancing music. Our apartment is on Via Camaldoli, so it looks like it's within walking distance. What say you?
