On a whim we looked for something a bit different. This was it and BRILLIANT into the bargain. I'll never forget out night with cool tunes, huge buzz, free nibbles and a little (too much) Prosecco. Not for the staid but we Loved it.

Before heading to Florence I look up recommendations through yelp and TripAdvisor. I came across Le Murate as I like to see places that are different not the usual restaurant. And through its history I thought my boyfriend and I would give this place a try. First of all, the staff was very friendly and they knew we did not speak Italian so they helped us out with the menu. I wish I would have remembered names but I didn't unfortunately. Our server who also took our order inside was friendly and did a great job. We paid a lady inside and she was also very helpful and gave us some recommendations. I just wish we had more time to leisure around the area. It is a big quad area and funky too with the mismatched furniture but it does have an appeal to it. We were not there for any of the entertainment but I'm sure it is an attractive place at night. We did receive bread with vinegar and olive oil and that was nice to accompany our wine. Our food was also very good. If I'm ever in Florence again, I would go back!
