After a visit to the Uffizi, we wandered into Ken’s gallery nearby. He explained with a smile that Italian art hadn’t ended with the masterpieces of the Renaissance but continued into the modern time. We learned so much from him and visited often, buying many pieces (at all price points) including paintings and sculptures. He arranged shipment and always provided backgrounds on “his” Artists, one of whom we met in person. We treasure these pieces and our meeting Walter Bellini, a wonderful individual.

I am writing this review only because of the previous negative review. I have not been to the gallery for many years and do not know if Walter still owns it, but it was a wonderful gallery run by a wonderful man. He was willing to represent modern, outstanding, Italian art well before most of Italy seemed ready to consider its own present accomplishments and was dwelling in the past. I've gone many times, bought some of my favorite art there, and will always visit the gallery any time I go to Florence.
