When my fiancé suggested that we get married in our favourite city, Florence, where we travel with my family every year, I was initially ecstatic! Then the reality of it creeped in...he’s constantly away on tour, I work full time..planning a wedding at home would be challenging enough. But one in a different country? When I don’t speak enough Italian other than to order wine and cappuccino? What were we thinking? Well let me tell you, if you are considering a wedding in Italy, Valentina is the person you want and need on your team! From our first correspondence last January, Valentina has been nothing but exceptionally professional, kind, prompt and so extremely helpful. Every email or question I had was responded to quickly, efficiently and in a very organized fashion. I can’t stress enough how much of a detailed oriented person I am, and she and her team got every single detail perfect. We got married on a private terrace on the gorgeous B-Roof of the Grand Hotel Baglioni, which has stunning panoramic views of the city. Valentina requested our story as a couple, ceremony preferences and so many other details I wouldn’t have ever thought of. Everything, right down to the matching ribbon on my bouquet, was perfect. Her husband Daniele was so kind and helpful on our wedding day as well. Our officiant Daniel is just an incredible soul who delivered a very beautiful and personal ceremony that included every detail we mentioned, and in such a lovely and inspiring way. We wanted a moderately religious ceremony and it was so well done, as if we (and my attending family) had known him for years. The photographer Fabrizio is also an incredible talent! We wanted some street photography and video footage in addition to the ceremony, and what he gave to us was magical, capturing so perfectly the sentiments of our wedding day. He absolutely got “our vision” for the vibe of our photos and video footage..he’s amazing. I could literally go on and on about how grateful all of us were with how beautifully Valentina organized and orchestrated our wedding day, and we both feel that we have also made new friends to enjoy a cappuccino with when we return to Florence again next year. Thank you a million times over for making our wedding day something straight out of a fairy tale for us! You guys are simply THE BEST❤️❤️ Xoxo Megan and Gordon

Hotel Guglie was a nice quaint hotel in a quiet location and 5 mins by walk to Sta. Lucia train station. They also gave us a tour of Tuscany in Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano. The wine tasting experience was lovely especially the charming host of the winery in Montalcino. A highly recommended tour when in Tuscany!

We would like to thank the staff at Tasting Italy Tours and Weddings for excellent service with a recent corporate group that travelled to Venice. It was such a pleasure dealing with Valentina who always responded promptly to all emails. Arrangements from the airport including airport assistance, private tours and transfers, hotel accommodation, dinners and lunches, etc. were well executed. Well done!

We decided to have our wedding in Italy, and then it is hard to be all the way up in Norway while planning. Vanlentina is very quik to respond to my questions and find good solutions for us. We had her organice with the officiant, Daniel- He was so great and special to us. She also organiced with a great photographer and fantastic live music. They played during aperetif and dinner with harp, violin and bass. A mix of classical and modern music. It really set the mood, and was worth every penny. Thank you for helping us with our fairytale wedding at Villa Il Paradisino.

We were planning to book a symbolic wedding with Tasting Italy in 2016. We came across Tasting Italy Tours and Weddings website while surfing the internet and Tripadvisor reviews, and decided to give it a try. First of all, I was very pleasantly surprised by Valentina's (she's the manager at Tasting Italy) responsiveness and how fast her responses were. Many other tour and wedding planning agencies did not respond in a timely manner, and seemed somehow reluctant to cooperate. Valentina's responses were spot-on and covered all the required information in a very detailed way. We are not from Europe, and Valentina was very patient with us to explain the whole process of planning a wedding in Italy, and how things work, giving us a large variety of options - to better suit our preferences (including budget limits, our preferred location, scenery, etc.). Valentina leaved no questions unresolved, and helped us in a great manner. What I liked even better - is that she helped us not only for our wedding planning, but even for items beyond her scope of work - such as giving very useful "insider" tips on how to travel in Italy, whether it is better to rent a car, or use public transportation, and other little things that are a must-know before you travel to another country. And again, all of her responses were very thorough, timely and very user-friendly - Valentina never showed any signs of annoyance or disrespect to us as her customers. To sum up - I would definitely recommend Tasting Italy (Valentina) if you're planning a symbolic wedding in Italy (or even a first-timer tourist to Italy)
