Saw their contemporary version of La Traviata, excellent job by cast and orchestra. The facilities appear to be almost new compared to the grand halls in London, Paris, Rome. While on vacation, we try to experience a performance, to capture the essence of the community....More

Heard Zubin Mehta and Andreas Schiff with Brahms Piano Concerto and Shostakovich symphony. It was fantastic, Acoustics were absolutely wonderful - and we are Classical Music snobs. We got a cab from our hotel as we would never have found the place, ate really good...More

The MMF has an amazing chorus and orchestra. In my opinion they are the best in Italy. I would highly recommend anybody to go and see their season. Coming to the opera will make a wonderful evening. Be sure to support them.

I love the Maggio Musicale and take it in each year. There are many different kinds of performances. Certainly there is one to meet every musical interest. Also visit the new beautiful opera house. Extraordinary.

It's a very good option for not being in a typical italian opera house. The acoustic is great, the variety of their repertoire is nice and the orchestra director is amazing. The orchestra is ok though.
