About
In 2018, our 15th year, the Bus2alps Blue Crew began asking our guests, “What does Blue mean to you?” For 16 years, our mission has been to provide meaningful, impactful and empowering travel experiences to help students create life-long friendships and memories during their time abroad. For 16 years, Blue -- to us -- means family, and a continued commitment to safe, affordable and captivating student travel throughout Europe and North Africa. As travelers by nature -- both in and out of the office -- we have a deep understanding of what emboldens young adults to make the life-changing decision to explore the world through study abroad.

Spent the past weekend on the Morocco trip and had the best time with Bus2Alps! The entire Bus2Alps staff was so kind and went out of their way to make this trip amazing! They even set up a local guide to show us the city when we arrived earlier than the program start. The entire trip was well thought out, planned and managed to show you all Marrakech has to offer in a stress free environment. Great accommodations and even better activities making the cost of the trip worth it! Would 100% recommend this trip!

Bus2Alps is a great company for abroad students and anyone looking to explore Europe. Our guides, Daiana, Riley, Kate, and Mateo, were very friendly and did a great job organizing the trip. Despite some bad weather during the trip, the guides made sure everyone was able to have an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend the Amalfi Coast trip, and I wish I got to take more trips with the company.

My friends & I are studying in Florence this spring and we have already enjoyed two Bus2alps trips (Interlaken & Morocco). This past weekend, we went on the Morocco trip which was absolutely amazing. The guides, Liz, Shields & Marcie were incredible & made our entire trip. They were super knowledgeable and fun to be around. The trip went very smoothly & was stress-free thanks to them! Never did I think I would make it to Africa & Bus2alps made it possible! My roommates & I met Liz the first weekend we got to Florence when she offered to take a picture for us and ever since then, she has gone out of her way to ensure we have the perfect weekends and has even become a great mentor & friend! Looking forward to the Amalfi Coast & Croatia trips through Bus2alps!!

Thank you, Alexis, for taking the time to tell us about your experiences in Morocco and Interlaken! Every employee at Bus2alps is passionate about sharing our love of traveling with anyone and everyone, but Liz and Shields take this energy to the next level. They embody what Bus2alps aims to do as a company. We're looking forward to Croatia and Amalfi with you, and we hope you can maybe even squeeze in another adventure with us! Best, Shelby

The spring break Greece trip was the biggest disaster I have ever experienced. The itinerary was completely wrong and consisted of 2 days of 36 hours straight of travel, which was not clear when buying the trip. The guides constantly lied about timelines and we barely got 3 full days of actual vacation when travel time was factored in. There was no welcome dinner and most of the islands were completely closed. This contributed to half of their activities listed on the advertisement being unavailable due to the off-season. The trip hasn’t been run since 2019 and never should have been run again. Never ever travel for any long-term trip with this company or any, in general, seems like they just care about money and scamming college students. The only trip that may be worth the price would be Interlaken otherwise book yourself. You will save money, a lot of travel time and sanity

Something that looked amazing and a great day $500 USD. Things promised were a boat, swimming in waterfalls, and top accommodations. None of which happened. In a $20 a night crappy hostel (which is fine but was not what we paid for). The weather did not even rain and full day boat was canceled which seemed weird and as if it was never planned or booked. Instead of boat that is over $100 USD, going paintballing was the option instead which was ridiculous and unfair. Lastly, the Sunday, waterfall was amazing yet it was promised again and not upheld that you cannot swim in there. Overall unorganized, promises not kept and whole trip was probably $300 less that what was paid. Not happy and would never do bus2alps ever again.

Dear Sydney, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We appreciate your feedback and regret to know your experiences in Croatia did not meet your expectations. We would firstly like to clear up the misunderstanding with regards to the Island Cruise. This was cancelled by the captain of the boat due to strong winds. Other water-based activities were also not possible. As an alternative we offered a walking tour of Split and a game of airsoft. Some guests chose to join in with these activities, others who preferred to do their own thing have received a refund. We do not take the decision to cancel activities lightly as we know it is disappointing but we are obliged to accept any decision made by the boat’s captain. It is regrettable that we were informed on the day of the visit to Krka, that it was not permissible to swim there. After discussion with the National Park representative, it was explained that in light of the cold temperatures, most guests are not interested in swimming anyway so they allow boats which makes it dangerous to swim there. The date they open to allow swimming is not fixed and determined by the weather. We are glad that you enjoyed the visit to the waterfalls apart from that. We hope that despite these unfortunate circumstances that you still have some happy memories of Croatia and the beautiful city of Split. We would be happy to discuss your feedback further; if this is something you are interested in, please feel free to email us at info@bus2alps.com.

Just completed my trip to Morocco and it was one of the best trips of my life!! It was a nice stress free trip because everything is organized and planned from the second you land. The days were filled with lots of fun activities but they also give you time to explore on your own. Both the Bus2Alps guides were wonderful and I could have not asked for a better experience for my time in Morocco.

Bus2Alps was an absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone ever. I was ripped off horrendously. The system is completely disorganized and flawed in countless ways. While the actual 7 hours of skiing was delightful, bus2alps played no part in that. Don’t pay for this, I promise you will regret it.

My friends and I all went on the Interlocken trip with Bus2Alps. Interlocken was beautiful, the skiing was incredible, our hotel was clean and accommodating but what we were impressed with most was the Hospitality and helpfulness of the Bus2Alps crew. Specifically, Gina and Allison were amazing to me and my friends. Not only did they help us navigate the skiing and trains but they also went above and beyond to give their favorite food and drink spots and Gina was even kind enough to walk my friends and I all the way to the lake from our hotel after we woke up late and missed the group.

While studying abroad in Florence, my friends and I traveled with Bus2Alps most weekends. It took away the stress of finding places to stay, things to do, etc on our own, as we had never been to many of the places we were traveling to. Many of the best memories from my study abroad experience are from Bus2Alps trips and the amazing experience they provided. Special shoutout to Gina for being the best guide and always looking out for my friends and I. She made our time so amazing and we are so lucky to have met her along this unforgettable experience!!!!

To begin, this company should seriously consider hiring tour guides who at the very minimum have some knowledge of the city we are traveling to, let alone a personality that didn't make me want to jump off La Sigrada Familia after 60 seconds of interaction with them. Upon arrival I felt as if my fellow travelers and I were a cage of pigeons being released in front of a locked and loaded firing squad of pick pocketers, thief's and gypsies whom against we faced a snowballs chance in hell of returning with any personal item of value. There was not a sliver of guidance, and it was clear we were facing imminent doom as soon as our pinhead tour guide assured us that he knew the nightlife like the back of his hand then proceeded to bring us to a bar that smelled of pigpen hookers. Overall I couldn't be more disappointed in my last weekend here in Europe and hope that this company can successfully find a pair of people with some sense of humor, more knowledge than that of a brick that built the foundation of the Ponte Vecchio and with ambitions greater than using a travel company to fund their summer get-a-ways while leaving the clueless travelers to go stick their thumbs up their stump and do the turkey wiggle. Unbelievable.
