Skip-the-Line Pitti Palace and Palatine Gallery Walking Tour
The Medici rulers who pieced together the world-class art collection at the Palatine Gallery (Galleria Palatina) in Pitti Palace (Palazzo Pitti) arranged it for aesthetics, not in date order. That makes the museum hard to navigate and the masterpieces hard to find. Save time and energy with this skip-the-line, small-group tour of Palatine Gallery. Your local guide will lead you straight to masterworks by Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, Rubens, and more.
Uffizi Gallery supersmall group guided tour
Visiting the Uffizi is a must for art lovers, but this world-famous museum can be overrun during the peak hours of the day. Beat the crowds with this early-morning tour and take in masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raffaelo, and Leonardo da Vinci with a guide to better appreciate their history and importance. Meet in Piazza della Signoria for a short overview of the Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio.

We only had one full day in Florence. Seeing the Accademia Gallery was a priority, as we've tried to get in on previous visits, but couldn't because lines were too long and we didn't reserve ahead. This tour was excellent. I can't remember our guide's name, but he did a great job! Our only problem was trying to find the meeting place. The time of our tour, it was raining and the Piazza Signoria was pretty busy. We asked lots of locals where the address was and couldn't find it. Ultimately, I ended up calling the number on my reservation and the guide answered and met us. We were the only ones on the tour, three of us with the guide. He started us off in the Loggia dei Lanzi because of the rain. (I'd suggest you have an umbrella with you, as this is an outdoor walking tour until you get to the Accademia.) He gave us all kinds of information on Michelangelo, Florence both Renaissance time and later, and on other artists of the Renaissance. He had interesting little trivia tidbits too. We walked past and viewed the outside of Orsanmichelle for the sculptures there, then continued to the Accademia, entering with the "skip the line" advantage. Inside the Accademia, he gave us more insight into some of the works there, including the David. Then the tour ends, but you are allowed to stay in the Accademia until it closes. This tour was so informative. Excellent use of a couple hours in Florence!…

My partner and I done the Palatine Gallery at Pitti Palace Guided Tour this morning with Roberta. I've given the tour 5 stars because the tour was utterly amazing. The gallery is spectacular and Roberta provided us with unique insight into the gorgeous paintings, the artists and their sponsors. Roberta transported us back in time to the Renaissance period by sharing with us her endless knowledge. Her passion for art history is clear. Request Roberta when doing this tour, you will not be disappointed.…
