Great find close to apartment for a little nightcap. Very knowledgeable barman and a very comprehensive selection of local and world beers. Definitely worth a visit if you want something a little different in a great setting.

Myself and a friend Stumbled upon this place, walked in, and met two of the loveliest Pub owners you'll ever meet. What followed was several pints of the most beautiful craft beer you can find, great conversations, and a brilliant selection of music. We felt so welcome and enjoyed the beer so much we made sure we returned the following night!

The owners of this bar are passionate about their beer, passionate about music, and passionate about people.

We will certainly be visiting again.

This little gem really is a must visit for any craft beer fans who find themselves in Florence. Lovely little place with some exceptional local and imported craft beer both in bottles and on draft. 6 taps (I think) 2 of their own and the rest imported from all over the world. The guys who run the place are incredibily enthausiastic about craft beer (and music/movies it seems also judging by the general theme of the place which we loved also). We visited the place twice over our 3 night stay and we would definately return.

My girlfriend and I live in Portland and thus are true microbrew lovers. Archea, and Antony, in particular, helped make our Florence vacation great fun. We went there 3 times in our 7 night stay, tried brews from Milan, Scotland, and of course Archea, too. Antony advised us on some good restaurants and little towns to visit in northern Italy. What a nice fellow and fun little place to take a break.

Across the river to the non touristy side of town, a short walk from the center of town, is a little brewery that has great craft beers. The bartender was really nice to us and happened to speak English. We sat and tried many beers, had great conversations and left refreshed. The next day we drove by on our way for a tour and there were people hanging out in the little front area laughing, drinking and talking and we wanted to pull over for a while. I'd go back again.

Read about this place prior to our trip, even making contact with them on their facebook page to get directions, so after that when were around this area on our first night we tried it out and loved it. Very friendly bar staff, even remembered our online conversation, very good beer - shame they dont, at the moment export or sell carry out! Tried their two beers, both very good although the lighter pilsner for me was excellent and in my top 5 all time!

Nice atmosphere and showed the Italian football on a big screen, which for me as a Serie A fan, loved having a taste of how the Italian's watch the game at a bar.

Recommended and we will return here. Recommend hitting them up on facebook as they have different things on.

What a surprise to find such a wonderful little drinking hole in the back streets of Florence on the other side of the river. Came across it on trip advisor and with the help of a map found it quite easily. Small entrance (garage door) then opens up into a huge bar/lounge. Opens from 5pm & starts with happy hour. Lovely owners/bar tender - offered us 3 taste tests of local brewed beers immediately upon arrival. Decor is really funky with lots of cool pictures. Also had really nice reasonable priced wine for my friend. Not a lot of people there as we were early but believe it is a "local" place which is what we really liked. Have only been opened a year and I wish them every success.

It was really nice to find this brewery in Florence. I love wine but both my husband and I wanted a change. The bartender/owner is super nice and has good knowledge of all the beers he is selling. Try one of their beers as well as they are pretty good. The atmosphere is dark but relaxing. We ended up staying there for almost four hours as we met another traveling couple from Australia.

Notes: The doorway is more like a garage door. We walked by it a couple of times.

Glad to report that this place seems to be going from strength to strength. very friendly welcome & helpful about the beer range. WiFi is a great bonus to us single travelers so, thanks chaps, it kept me in touch with family.
Also met some really nice folks from Sussex (you know who you are.....) and some from Aspen Colorado so, a real eclectic mix.
Great beer & great company.

I went here with three friends (one of whom is a German and a beer lover). The bartender (I think he is the owner too) was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a mix of their own brews, regional and international micro-brews, both on tap and in the bottle. The bar is small and cozy and played fantastic music. We each tried a few beers and they were all great. I had both of their own brews (one a double bock and the other a blonde) and each was fantastic. I'm from WI and I have high beer standards, and this is a surprising find in Italy, the land of wine.
Note: I'm not sure why this is listed as an "attraction" because it's a bar. They brew off-site.
