Our family of four did a Florence taste tour with Alina from Bites of Florence in September. We met her at Hotel Baglioni near the train station on time from where she took us to a lovely patisserie for breakfast where we sampled some pastries and had coffee/tea. We then visited the markets and got to try lots of yummy treats including lots of different truffle pastes, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, cheeses, and meats, juices, limoncello, wine, and vin santo She then bought us some yummy warm meat rolls after which we walked to a local bar where we tried various wines and she bought the children really yummy sodas. This was followed by some amazing chocolate and raspberry gelato. We all had a great time trying lots of different and very yummy foods, and went away very well satisfied. We asked Alina for a dinner recommendation and she took us to a local restaurant where she booked for us and even showed us how to find it again from our accommodation. She is a lovely and very kind and generous guide. We were very glad we chose her, especially when we saw some of the other huge groups on foodie tours. With Alina we were lucky enough to be just our family. I can definitely recommend Alina especially if you don't want to be with the crowds.

Alina took us to great hidden gems around Florence. She was very knowledgable and friendly. Both my fiancé and I still are dreaming about the food market she took us too.

Alina was such a wonderful tour guide, right away it felt as though we were walking with a friend and not a normal tour guide. She is so knowledgeable of Florence and all of its quirks! I would recommend the Bites of Florence Tour to anyone and everyone! It is not just for foodies, but for anyone that loves to eat! :)

Alina has brought me to top notch hidden gems in Florence. From the cappuccino morning rush to the sweet gelato epilogue that capped off our afternoon. The intimate tour got me to mix with merchants and find out more about food's history in the wonderful city.

We did this food tour a few weeks ago and it was great. Alina was very sweet and knew her stuff. She knew all the vendor's by their names and we were able to sample atleast 15-20 different food and drinks. WE also had the opportunity to buy oils, salts and wines. The wine sampling were quite generous towards the end. The chocolate shop was the perfect ending to tour tour. It was soooo decadent. Thanks Alina!
