Exceptional Jewelry in Florence

Beautiful and artistic jewelry from a kind and knowledgeable family run business. I walked up and down the streets looking for a jewelry shop that had interesting and beautiful pieces and was instantly impressed at the selection on display in the window of Jean Saade. As I entered, I was greeted by total hospitality, and a sincere dedication to excellent work. They explained to me the Florentine style of jewelry, as well as the fine detailed work involved with creating these pieces - which were all exceptionally beautiful. There was no pressure at all - and they both took their time to ensure I got just what I wanted. One of the items I purchased was a ring that needed sizing, which they offered to do quickly as I was flying out in the next two days. Again, unbelievable service and impeccable quality of work.
I could go on & on - but just stop in yourself and experience this wonderful shop. I have no doubt they will have whatever you are looking for, and more. I will definitely be a repeat customer and can’t wait to return later this year. Many thanks Jean Saade!!

The best quality and value for Jewelry in Florence

This is the store to visit if you want unique handmade jewelry with great worksmanship and attention to detail. There are lots of jewelry shops in florence and they all basically have the same stuff, but this place is special and unique. Jean personally helped us and we could see a remarkable difference between the work he produces and what is sold on the Ponte Vecchio and other stores. Save yourself a day of window shopping and just come here. The prices were very fair and reasonable for the superb quality of work. We ended up returning 3 times to buy more since it was clearly the best quality and value too! Jean is also a great guy to chat with and we had a wonderful time meeting him and his friends in the store. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We dont usually leave reviews, but we were so impressed that we had to help the world find Jean. When you are done, take a walk around the corner to Dante leather or David2 leather for excellent leather products, friendly staff, and great wine!!! ;-)

I bought the most exquisite gold mesh bracelet from jean saade jewels. Mr. Saade could not have been nicer or more helpful. His prices were decent and the quality impeccable. Mr. Saade was extremely helpful when dealing with duty free procedures.

After buying some leather products, I mentioned to Alex the salesman that I needed to buy a necklace for a friend back in California. I was disappointed by the stores on the bridge, and thought their prices were inflated. Alex took me to his friends store, Jean Saade. He showed me a beautiful gold necklace and crucifix that was very reasonable in price. He also showed my wife a picture of his beautiful family. As I left there, I was happy that I was referred there by Alex, and met an honest jeweler, who has some very beautiful product. I would highly recommend Jean Saade to anyone. Thanks, Alex, our leather jackets are great. Better then Roseville galleria

Beautiful Florentine jewelry

Because Florence is best known for its gold jewelry (and leather products), we thought we'd shop for a pair of earrings for my husband's sister, Amanda, (and maybe find something special for me as well). Given that there are hundreds of jewelry shops all over Florence, mostly tourist traps on the Ponte Vecchio, we were a bit overwhelmed as to where to go to find a beautiful gift at a reasonable price.

While we were finishing our shopping at Goccia shoes (I wrote a review for them as well), we asked Nino, the sales associate, if he knew of a good jewelry shop where we could find some small gifts for family back home. He sent us to Jean Saade, where his mother is a long-time client. He said they would take care of us, and they did…

Not five minutes later, Carlos, one of Jean Saade's sales associates, came to where we were to personally escort us to the shop, which was just a few blocks away. The shop is tiny and located near the Ponte Vecchio, but just far enough away from the swarms of tourists. Each piece of jewelry in the shop is a piece of art, and it was obvious that they take pride in their work. They carry both traditional Florentine style jewelry and contemporary. Both are designed and hand crafted by Jean Saade. The owner of the shop, Jean, and Carlos, helped us find the perfect gifts, and there was no hard sell or pressure to purchase. I ended up buying a gorgeous sterling silver St. Francis pendant and chain, that was also a Jean Saade design. The craftsmanship is perfection and we didn't end up spending a fortune on our purchases.

As I wear my pendant, I have nothing but warm and fuzzy associations of our final days in Italy, walking along the ancient, cobblestone streets of Florence. I look forward to our next trip back, and we will definitely revisit this shop.

We were referred to Jean by his cousin Franco Fonati who owns Dante Leather Factory. Jean was very professional and his work is stunning. I bought a ring that he had designed and hand made and it is beautiful! We also bought a Florentine necklace and are very happy with both purchases. Jean was helpful and modest and very proud of his work and rightly so... Would definitely recommend him and his shop.....

Beautiful, Handmade Jewelry

If you want to avoid the tourist trap and mass produced jewelry, then please visit Jean Saade and his nephew Carlos for unique pieces. I look forward to seeing Jean every time I go to Florence. His jewelry is handcrafted and he can explain how every piece is made. I practically love his Florentine style rings because of the intricate detailing and craftsmanship. Over a decade later I still get compliments on my ring. I recently went back, found that he still believes in making beautiful quality pieces and couldn’t resist buying some earrings. Jeen Saadé is an independent jeweler that designs creative pieces & has excellent service. The reviews are accurate as we found a one of a kind ring for our 30th anniversary. It was fitted , shipped to the US with good email communication. We are thrilled with the ring and our experience with Jean Saadé.

We were introduced to Jean by our dear friend Paolo. I had not intended on purchasing any jewellery whilst we were visiting Florence. That was...until I went to browse inside this splendid boutique store. I left with not one, but two exquisite, masterfully hand crafted pieces (spoilt!) Jean offers expert advice, specialised skills and a professional, friendly service. He proudly shares the interesting details of his creations and his personalised attention makes you feel very special. The unique, delicate & intricate designs are a timeless treasure. I love my elegant diamond pieces. They accessorise well, suit every occasion and are truly mesmerising. A perfect balance of ingenuity, harmony and classic grace.
