My goal in Florence was to get some nice, quality leather. I was lucky that Roberta's was right across the street from our hotel. I decided that I wanted to get some leather gloves. The man at the shop was super helpful helping me pick out a color and size that worked well for me. He was very friendly and... More

I walked all around Florence looking for a nice leather handbag and just couldn't find the quality that I was in search of. I read the reviews about Roberta's on this site and decided to check out the location at Via del Banchi (22r). I was not disappointed!! The price is very fair for beautiful Italian made products. The staff... More

I visited the location near the Santa Maria Novella church. The products are different from the usual merchandise available in many locations and also quite stylish. I don't know very much about leather, but the quality and finish appealed to me. A nice bonus was the great conversation I had with the man at the shop. i walked away with... More

We held back and only purchased two pairs of gloves at Roberta's! This was extremely difficult because they have them in every color imaginable. They are all gorgeous and the leather is soft, supple and of high quality. The prices are reasonable and customer service was excellent.

I stopped by looking for gloves of which they have many in various beautiful colors. The staff were very helpful. The second store next door was closed, so unfortunately, I didn't get in to see the bags, and scarves.

I really wanted one handbag in my life that I knew was top quality, stylish, and made in Italy. I looked in many stores and then decided to check on trip advisor and Roberta's came up and I decided it was there or nowhere. I also found that the owner or person in the shop just made it clear to take... More

My wife bought a pair of shoes. They look great and comfortable. The price was very reasonable, especially for hand made shoes.

I sought out the two shops named Roberta based on Trip Advisor reviews and was so happy I did. Xandro (short for Alexandro) was so patient with me while I flitted from purses to gloves and lastly, mens wallets. He took out various sizes and colors based on my indecision, all without any signs of frustration. In the end I... More

After schlepping all over Florence looking for purses, I finally found Roberta on Borgo San Jacopo in the Oltrano just over the Ponte Vecchio. Although Florence is known for it's fine leather goods, many shops either carry inferior quality products that are mostly produced in China and just "finished" in Italy, or are so expensive their wares are really no... Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
