This 19th century piazza has undoubtedly the best panoramic view of Florence. The square is decorated with copies of Michelangelo's sculptures, but it's the view people come here to see.

Sweeping panoramic views of the city from the hilltop. Not unreasonable by taxi, cheaper but more of a hassle by bus. Tons of souvenir stands, drinks, snacks as well. Also another statue of David. A great, beautiful statue - granted - but a statue. Admire...More

Alone, couple or with friends it s the best place to see Firenze and drink a bottle of wine that you have already buy from the Centre... Perfect place for photography especially in the afternoon and in the evening.

With my parents, I have visited here three times during our 4-day visit. We really enjoy the scenery there that the panoramic view is amazing! Taking a rest, we went to the restaurant opposite to the plaza that allows us to enjoy the scenery comfortably.

This is a must see and isn't as far as I thought. Incredible public rose garden on the way gives extra benefit to the short uphill hike!

Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by
