Giacomo was great and very knowledgeable! I'd been to Florence before and he was able to point out a couple of interesting things I'd missed last time. Excellent English, cracked a few jokes, very comprehensive and COV-19 friendly.

In February 2020, my family and I booked a tour with Francesca for the Uffizi. It was all we could have asked for and more. Francesca is a walking, animated encyclopedia of knowledge about Florence in general and the Uffizi specifically. With a pleasant attitude and interesting dialogue, she guided us through what would have been an otherwise incomprehensible museum. I would recommend your employing her services and benefitting from her knowledge.

Francesca and Isabella were wonderful tour guides. The walking tour was a must since it gave us a good knowledge and understanding of Florence. The private tours of the Uffizi and Accademia were impressive. Their recommendations on local eateries and such were dead on so we were able to navigate through Florence without any problem! So much history to absorb. This only means that we will have to return!!

I’m sorry for not having seen your review sooner! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with me and Isabella with other travelers. It’s nice to read about our tours inside Uffizi and Accademia after so many months of lockdown due to the virus. I really missed those days when Florence was crowded and there was no social distancing. Hopefully it will return like that soon! Thanks and my warmest wishes. Francesca

Francesca was by an amazing guide. Her English is perfect and her knowledge of Florence, the art, the history, everything is impressive. She managed to keep a group of four teenagers, a 12 year old and an 8 year old plus three adults all interested in engaged. I very highly recommend Francesca to anyone wanting an excellent private tour of Florence. In addition, she helped to make reservations for us at two amazingly delicious restaurants.

Dear Ada, It was absolutely lovely to be your guide and show you around for 2 days over Christmas time. The kids were absolutely delightful, especially the little one. I love the challenge of having different age ranges, but in general mithology and Medici family stories work to keep everybody engaged! I’m happy that also enjoyed the restaurants I recommended, it’s hard to have a bad meal in Florence! I wish you all the best for 2020 and definitely hope to see you again! Cuídate, Francesca

Our family visited Florence over the Christmas holiday and were lucky to have Francesca as our guide to Fiesole, a true hidden gem of Florence. A visit to Fiesole, often referred to as the “Mother of Florence”, is a wonderful way to escape the crowds of Florence for a little while to enjoy the ancient Etruscan ruins, the Fiesole Cathedral, the Monastery of San Francesco and, most of all, the beautiful hilltop, panoramic views of Florence. Francesca is such a friendly and knowledgeable guide and historian — her enthusiasm for Fiesole and Florence makes history come to life! After our tour, we had lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Fiesole piazza that Francesca recommended. We are already planning our next visit to spend more time exploring the hiking trails and to see the sunset views of Florence from Fiesole! Thank you, Francesca, for giving us a day that we’ll never forget! Ann

Dear Ann, Thanks for taking the time to write this commentary. The tour of Fiesole is ultimately one of my favorite ones! Its quietness, centuries-old charming history and its spectacular position make this hilltown unique. I definitely recommend this experience if you want to get to know Tuscany better within a 20 minutes bus ride. Fiesole is the city of Etruscans, Romans and Longobards. It’s a stunning XI century cathedral with a deep mistic symbology. It’s the only roman theater still in perfect conditions in all Tuscany. I’m very happy that you enjoy it so much! Thanks for your visit!! Francesca
