Off cruise ship. Missed connection so was very late getting into Florence. Chiara rearranged her schedule to accommodate our delay and even met us at the train station. I was walking challenged-just recovering from surgery. She moved at my slow pace, finding sitting spots (in the shade). And still covered the best of Florence on a very crowded, hot Sunday... More

Chiara is absolutely lovely! So knowledgable and easy to be around. Her hometown pride was contagious and she was able to keep my 13 year old son entertained. We did a three hour walking tour and I was sad to see her leave. She brought Florence alive for us and made everything mean so much more. Also, we didn't have... More

Chiara guided our group for two half days. She found a way to engage both the grannies and the teenagers beautifully. She walked with us through the Oltrarno to Santa Croce showing us so much along the way - a highlight was Il Papiro where she arranged a private demonstration for us of paper marble being done. Her knowledge of... More

We somewhat belatedly contacted Florence Custom Tours to see if we could get a guide to take us to the Accademia and a few other sights. We were staying about an hour outside of Florence, and had some special requirements: children ages 17, 11 and 5, and grandparents who cannot walk long distances, one of whom uses a rolling walker.... This is a long overdue review, but we had such a great time I had to make sure I wrote about it! Adri was fantastic and so accommodating to our group. We were with our 3 children (11, 8, 2) and she made sure we all had a great time while getting to know Florence. The best part were the... More

We had an excellent day with Adri in Florence, doing a full day walking tour. Communication in planning the trip was prompt and Adri met us at the station as planned. We covered off on the major highlights, not missing out on the best gelato and juices! We found her passion for paintings in the museum to be the highlight... More

We booked a day tour and a night tour with Chiara. The booking was fine, no issue, great communication and accommodating. Chiara was very knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. She knows all the good restaurant as well; we had a very good lunch. We enjoyed the day tour very much. At night she took us up the hill and we had... More

Our guide, Adri, was very enthusiastic and incredibly well-informed. Very educational and captivating experience walking through Florence and learning about it's rich history. Highly recommend using these folks for your private tour needs in Florence. Very professional.

We traveled to Florence with our two kids ages 14 and 17, my sister and her husband. We booked a two day tour each 3 hrs long with Adrianna. Our first day we walked along Florence as Adri provided us with the history behind her beautiful city. We visited the Accademia. Adri was charismatic, kind, patient and very informative. We... More

Our family of three did a three-hour tour of Florence with Adri, who was a lovely person and a truly outstanding tour guide. On this trip to Italy we included three custom tours - two in Rome and one in Florence - and all were with different companies. There was no comparison in the quality of the tour, the flexibility...
