Best Day In Tuscany!

This tour was our favorite overall day in Italy. The tour company helped to tailor the perfect day for us - they arranged a guide for us in Sienna, a beautiful lunch at a winery overlooking San Gimignano, and the driver was safe and knowledgeable. We will most certainly reach out to this company again when we get back to Tuscany.

Excellent Service

The driver was knowledgeable and funny, He was a really nice person. The places we visited were made more real and understandable with the driver's commentary. The service handled a rather complicated reservation with ease and good humor. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

great trip to two wineries, 11 of us in 2 vans, one is a medium size winery run by a family, second is in a cave that is very interesting and delicious food was served with the wine. very knowledgeable and entertaining host. Drivers were on time, very good english and knowledge of Tuscany

Tours in Tuscany - A Great Way to See A Beautiful Place

On a recent trip to Italy, our group stayed in Siena but was interested in seeing some of the other small towns in the vicinity and also the countryside. While looking for day tour options, we came across Tours in Tuscany and contacted them. They were quick to respond and very pleasantly answered all of our questions, helping us arrange the tour that met our desires. We were able to arrange and book everything online. The communication was excellent ahead of time, as well as right before the tour. We were contacted the day before the tour with all final details. Francesco was our driver. He picked us up near our lodging - very easy. He was very knowledgeable about the towns we visited and shared a lot of information as we drove from place to place. We asked him many general questions about Italy and the Tuscany area, which he patiently answered. He also had a great sense of humor! We enjoyed our time with him very much. Once in the towns, he walked us to the tourism office and helped us figure out tickets for the sites we wanted to visit. He recommended restaurants and gelato shops, was willing to make restaurant reservations for us, and generally took very good care of us. He even had umbrellas for us to use as the day was a little rainy. Francesco took a little more time driving, so that on the curvy country roads we were all comfortable, and we all appreciated that. Overall, we found Tours in Tuscany to be a very professional and pleasant company to work with. We would highly recommend them.

We have been using Marco and the Tours In Tuscany team for over 16 years. From our first visit with a small baby in tow, to this last time when we had a group of 20 adults, they have always exceeded expectations in their level of professionalism as drivers to their local knowledge as guides. The whole team is a pleasure to work with. We have come to rely on their expertise for finding fun out of the way restaurants and wineries, and even the small towns that feel like private discoveries. We trust and rely on them to make sure our holidays are top notch, and they never disappoint.

So awesome to work with this company, start to finish. We customized our tour so that we could be dropped off at our accommodations in the San Gimignano area. Email coordination with Ilaria was stellar, with prompt responses at every turn. Our driver, Francesco was great, his English was very good and he also recommended a lovely restaurant in Siena for lunch. The tour guide Anja, that they arranged for us in Siena, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was very refreshing to work with such a reliable company.

Amazing company…. Went to a wonderful vineyard and serves the most delicious lunch after a tour of the grounds. Also a quick stop in a charming town for cappuccino. Driver was amazing and knowledgeable. Company is extremely efficient to work with and book with. Answers emails promply and with much detail. Would highly recommend!
