On a recent trip to Italy, our group stayed in Siena but was interested in seeing some of the other small towns in the vicinity and also the countryside. While looking for day tour options, we came across Tours in Tuscany and contacted them. They were quick to respond and very pleasantly answered all of our questions, helping us arrange the tour that met our desires. We were able to arrange and book everything online. The communication was excellent ahead of time, as well as right before the tour. We were contacted the day before the tour with all final details. Francesco was our driver. He picked us up near our lodging - very easy. He was very knowledgeable about the towns we visited and shared a lot of information as we drove from place to place. We asked him many general questions about Italy and the Tuscany area, which he patiently answered. He also had a great sense of humor! We enjoyed our time with him very much. Once in the towns, he walked us to the tourism office and helped us figure out tickets for the sites we wanted to visit. He recommended restaurants and gelato shops, was willing to make restaurant reservations for us, and generally took very good care of us. He even had umbrellas for us to use as the day was a little rainy. Francesco took a little more time driving, so that on the curvy country roads we were all comfortable, and we all appreciated that. Overall, we found Tours in Tuscany to be a very professional and pleasant company to work with. We would highly recommend them.

We were a group of 20, and took a tour of two wineries in Montalcino which included lunch with wine pairings. Marco and the two other drivers Benjamin and Mateo educated us on the region and the growing and harvesting of the grapes, sharing their passion for the region with us. It was a special day to remember. We also used Tours in Tuscany for our airport transport. Over the past 15 years I’ve used Tours in Tuscany to see Luca, Cinque Terre, Pisa to name a few, and recommend them to all my friends visiting Italy. You will be in good hands, reliable, professional and safe
I’d be remiss in not mentioning Ilaria their tour coordinator who was a pleasure to work with on every detail of our planning. Thank you Marco for once again making our vacation in Italia so memorable

We had worked with Tours in Tuscany in late 2019/early 2020 for a planned trip to Tuscany in May 2020. Needless to say, that trip never happened due to Covid. But when my husband and I were able to book a last-minute trip to Italy in June 2021, we reached out to the company on relatively short notice. Ilaria in the office was an absolute delight to work with, and more than happy to accommodate our requests. (I should also note that the company honored the deposit we had left with them in 2020.) We had two private all day transfers: a transfer from Rome to Florence with a 3+ hour stop in Orvieto, and a transfer back from Florence to Rome with a 4 hour stop in Siena. Marco was our driver-guide for both of these trips, and we could not have been more pleased with his services. His van was spotless, and he was a friendly, knowledgeable, and safe driver. The company also arranged a private tour guide for us in Siena, Federica, and she was superlative. I loved our experience with Tours in Tuscany and look forward to using them again. It is a beautiful way to arrange hassle-free transport with luggage, with the added bonus of being able to sightsee along the way. Thank you, Marco and Ilaria!!

We have been using Marco and the Tours In Tuscany team for over 16 years. From our first visit with a small baby in tow, to this last time when we had a group of 20 adults, they have always exceeded expectations in their level of professionalism as drivers to their local knowledge as guides. The whole team is a pleasure to work with. We have come to rely on their expertise for finding fun out of the way restaurants and wineries, and even the small towns that feel like private discoveries. We trust and rely on them to make sure our holidays are top notch, and they never disappoint.

Our group of 8 adults hired Tours in Tuscany for two tours in Florence and a wine tour in Tuscany. The company responded quickly to all queries. Their cost was competitive, their guides easy to understand. The walking tours were very insightful and thoughtfully created. The guide was on time, met us at our AirBnB, and was conscious of our responses to the different sites. For example she was willing to stop at unplanned places if we were curious. I would definitely recommend this company for tours. Our guide for the winery was a delight.

We just got back from Tuscany after having the most incredible week! We used Toursintuscany for transfers from the airport; a day trip to Sienna and San Gimignano; a day trip to Pisa and Lucca; a day trip to Florence and a day trip to Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino. All of the tours were absolutely fantastic! Benjamin from Toursintuscany did an amazing job of informing us as we drove and picking the best wineries and restaurants for us, taking such care in making sure we had the best time we could possibly have. The wineries to which they brought us were gorgeous family-run wineries that have hundreds of years of history. The restaurant in Pienza overlooked the mountains with the most incredible views I think I’ve ever seen. And the food was delicious!! Marco drove us to Florence and was also incredibly informative and friendly. We could really see that this company was concerned about us and our vacation. We enthusiastically recommend them for your vacation in Tuscany!

Our group of 6 women wanted a private transport service to drive us to various spots during our 1 week visit to Tuscany. Tours in Tuscany did not disappoint. Our drivers Maurizio and Lorenzo were delightful. Always pleasant, friendly and professional. By the end of the week we were all old friends. The drivers were always on time at our villa which was admittedly somewhat difficult to find. The cars were new, spacious and clean.
The office staff was ideal to work with. There was no question too small or silly that Chiara, Francesco or Marco didn't answer promptly and with endless patience. After the first day we knew that we were in very good hands and that our transportation needs were well taken care of.
Thanks you again Tours in Tuscany. The only bad news is that we are no longer in Tuscany! A beautiful, beautiful part of Italy, Bellissimo!!

We booked a transfer from Rome airport to Florence, four tours and a transfer with a stop. All the tours were very satisfactory in every aspects. The Diver/guide were very professional, spoke English very well , provided us with history, important things to do, restaurant reservation , maps, places of interest, security and safety. Nice , clean and luxury vehicles throw-out our tours. Divers/guide went out of their way to take care of our every special needs in terms reserving restaurants that can have vegetarian food of our liking. We strongly recommend this company any future travels . Special thanks to our driver/guides Marcos, Benjamin, Lorenzo and Daniele. Chiara and Alessia provided excellent input in setting up the tours. We really appreciated all your efforts in making our tours something we will always remember with great memories.

We had such wonderful service for our family of four from Benjamin. Everything went smoothly and what a treat to have door to door service by an expert in the area. Also, Ilaria in the front office was fantastic to work with, even ensuring that the restaurant we had lunch in in Bologna could accommodate dietary restrictions that my child has.

We hired Tours in Tuscany for three trips/tours while in Italy this November - a transfer from Rome to Florence with a stop in Orvieto, an early morning transfer from Florence to San Miniato for a truffle hunting experience, and a full day (3 winery) tour of Montalcino. The drivers were all courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Ilaria, who handles the bookings, is a pleasure to work with. We used Tours in Tuscany during a trip in 2018 and were very pleased to use them again in 2021.
