I booked a half-day Tuscan wine tasting experience with Prestige Rent in March 2023. Our tour guide, Jonathan and driver, Antonio were phenomenal! The drive was comfortable and fun as Jonathan provided lots of history on the region as well as the wine making process. We had an amazing time visiting both wineries on the itinerary and would certainly recommend Prestige Rent to all others looking for a memorable experience with great people. Thank you Jonathan and Antonio- this was one of our favorite memories from our trip to Italy!

I had to book our tour at the last minute with Prestige Rent. They were extremely accommodating, helpful, and made us feel at ease (and did not upcharge us for the last minute booking)! I had checked with a couple of other tour companies and Prestige Rent beat their prices by $65 per person (and there were 4 of us in our group)!
We had the joy of Alessio as our driver. He was so friendly, right on time, dressed very professionally, a great driver, and shared so many interesting pieces of information along the way. He picked us up at our door in a Mercedes van, and had water bottles available to us when needed.
Along our journey he took us on a wonderful surprise quick stop to the Florence American War Cemetery, which was so fitting because Veterans Day was occurring in America at the same time. So special!
Alessio got us to the door of each destination, which was so welcomed.
I can't speak highly enough about this company and our WONDERFUL driver. I will always try and book with them!

This was the best full day guided tour I have ever taken. Jam packed yet expertly paced. Lorenzo’s breadth and depth of knowledge allowed variety and flexibility at each stop. Giovanni chauffeured us around the busy roads and tourist filled areas safety whilst keeping us on time. Huge thank you for pointing out all the convenient conveniences. Lunch was delicious. Really great day out steeped in history.

We had a really lovely time on this tour.
Positives: The tour guide, Daniele, made the whole experience wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding the wine in Chianti region and entertained us with interesting history as we drove. The woman at the first vineyard gave us the most informed tasting of the day. We learned so much! LOTS of wine at each stop and all very good. We wished we had eaten breakfast since the food didn’t come until the second winery. Lunch was pretty substantial thankfully: charcuterie board, bread, and lasagna. This tour supports local vineyards who don’t sell their wines elsewhere.
Negatives: The last winery was really the only major wow factor of the trip. Not to say the Tuscany countryside and the first two vineyards weren’t beautiful and special. We had just expected some of the spectacular estates that you see and read about. You’re really only tasting Chianti wine on this tour…by the third place I was kind of done with it and wanted something different.
The stop in Greve could have been skipped altogether. Thankfully it was a short stop because there was really not much there. Everyone walked to the town square, walked through a couple shops, and had some coffee and gelato at the only cafe. The gelato wasn’t even good and the town was nothing special at all.
So, while it was a nice way to spend the day, we wouldn’t do a tour like this again. In retrospect, a half-day tour to this part of Tuscany would have been sufficient to just learn about the history and making of Chianti wine.

We are happy Daniele provided a wonderful experience and you learned more about the local wine and history. We are also glad and honestly, surprised that you appreciated the genuine high-quality wines you tasted on your tour but rated the wineries as nothing special.
First of all, all the wineries you visited were organic, family-owned artisans of wine, with a focus on the quality of their products.
The first winery is a historical place from the 15th century and you had the chance to learn about the winemaking process and see their ancient cellars with wooden barrels where wine has been aging for centuries. The room you had your tasting was the ancient stable of the villa, and the owners still live on the estate. You tasted wine, the highest quality of extra virgin olive oil on top of local bread they make with their very flour.
The second winery is a small boutique winery atop a hill with views over vineyards people deeply enjoy and here you were lucky enough to taste some white wine, balsamic vinegar on top of local cheese and extra virgin olive oil with truffle they find in the botanical forest around their estate. Your local lunch was paired with the winery’s excellent wines.
Greve in Chianti you had the chance to visit on your 30 minutes stop, is a small medieval village where people still live. Is the most representative village of Chianti, with its picturesque square surrounded by ancient porticoes full of local crafts.
The third winery is a national monument and museum, and you had the opportunity to visit and taste their wine and fresh extra virgin olive oil.
Finally, the wineries you visited were in Chianti Classico area, the most ancient official wine region in the world and the wines produced here were famous already from the Middle Ages. We provide an authentic wine tour that reflects the local wines. In fact, as you can read from the tour description that you decided to book, it is clearly mentioned that the wines tasted are Chianti Classico, Chianti Clasico Riserva, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione if available and Super Tuscans.
We are sorry you wanted to taste something different than what is locally produced and both appreciated and failed to appreciate the high-quality wineries and products they make. We are also sorry you underrated the stop in Greve in Chianti, an opportunity usually highly valued by our past travelers.
To conclude, the tour provided exactly what promised: a knowledgeable local guide, different experiences to small wineries that continue the tradition of winemaking generation after generation, to understand and value the local wine from different perspectives, while enjoying the most amazing views and rides through medieval villages, wine roads and gentle Tuscan slopes.

Very efficient, from the moment we arrived we were asked about dietary requirements (as a vegetarian I really appreciated this!) and guided onto an air conditioned bus. Small group of around 20 people, and we had Jason as our guide. Jason was funny and kind and kept us all entertained - even checking in on us after each batch of wine drank to make sure everyone was happy and having a good time.
This tour was a great opportunity to meet lots of international friends and the gentlemen who showed us around the vineyards were very entertaining and had delightful wine - I only wish our suitcase was bigger to bring more home to Scotland! 🏴
Shout out to our driver Anohea - I have never seen such skillful driving around windy small Italian dirt roads!!
A 10/10 would do again! 🍷✨🥰

We took a full-day trip with wine tasting at 3 different wineries in the Chianti region. It was worth every euro paid, thanks of course to the experience - tasty wines and picturesque scenery. However, the whole experience was elevated to another level because because our host - Leonardo - was such a professional, charming, funny and interesting character. His personality, stories, facts and advice were something rare to behold and he is a major asset to the tour outfit. I highly recommend it, and if you get Leonardo, I'm sure you will not be disappointed :)

Went on the tour today at 2:15. Had an absolutely fabulous time.
Met some great people as it was only 25 max, which I highly recommend, do not go on the bigger tour

Lorenzo(guide) and Antonio (driver) were fantastic! Lorenzo could not have been more kind, patient or knowledgeable. He injected humor into his explanations. The tour itself was to beautiful places in Tuscany. The wine tasting was wonderful too!

I highly recommend Prestige Rent! Our group of 15 rented a villa outside of Greve and we did not want to rent a car. Luca coordinated a series of transportation needs including trips to/from the airport and train station and day trips to Siena, Florence and Volterra. Stefano and Donatello were superb drivers, on time always and so gracious. The whole process was extremely smooth and made our trip even more memorable.

We have a group of 6 and we could only book 5 on the October 19 essence wine tour. What is the likelihood of getting the last person on a waiting list if someone cancels?

we offer 2 different kind of services:
1) private tours with pick up/drop off at the clients accommodation
2) small group tours with departure/return from the meeting point at Piazzale Montelungo (close to the Florence Train Station). However for the small group tours, detailed directions on how to reach the meeting point, are included in the confirmation voucher.
