what a night!

I went to the Tenax during Spring Break 2006. It was one of the greatest nights of my life. The music was incredible and the dancing was tons of fun. It can be intimidating for foreigners (especially women) because there are a lot of men who will do anything to dance with you whether you want to or not. The drinks were expensive as was the entire night, but for me and my group of Canadian and Italian friends, it was a night to remember! I recommend the Tenax to anyone between the ages of 16-30 and it is safest and most fun to go with a large group.

Tenax is a must-go-to while in Firenze.

All the clubs in Florence's city center can be fun, but they are mostly filled of (Albanian, Italian, or African) men looking to pick up American girls.

Tenax is a place where real Italians go. If you want to experience what nightlife is like for Italians, come here. It is filled with 18-30 year olds. There will be a line to get in, but eventually you will get inside--maybe 15 mins or so. Don't leave because you're deterred by the line! Famous DJs spin here, and it is dominantly all house music. It is not the same repetitive house music you will hear at other clubs...the songs usually have good beats and you can dance to it! Take a taxi with some friends as it is out of the city center...about 10-15 min. However, it is totally worth the trip! With friends, the taxi is not expensive at all. Also, this is the least creepy club for women. It feels very safe compared to the others, as the men are not as eager to pick up girls. They are really there for the music. With that said, the music is the main attraction here, and you can just enjoy yourself dancing.

Tech house lovers heaven

This is definitely the best underground venue for tech house lovers. You can stay for hours in this spacious black box of a club. Quality music from world famous DJs combined with epic lighting, visuals and sound you are guaranteed a fun night! I am a lover of Tenax and I keep going back for seconds 😁

A real taste of the what nightlife is like for the average Italian

Tenax is definitly worth checking out while you are in Florence especially if you are into famous DJs. Not only does it attract an eclectic crowd, its actually somewhere that doesnt cater to the American college student. Sure there are snobby looking Italians but once inside you will forget about the impatience at the door and just take in all tenax has to offer. Thursday if you are a student you can get in free and trust me, way better to spend to get into tenax than to spend to go to Space Electronic. Go with some friends and drink at the bar next door first ( much cheaper). take a taxi back home.. as it is a little out of the center.
