We always use the hop on hop off bus when visiting a city as you get a good feel for the layout and can decide what you want to see and when. There are 2 routes running in winter and 3 from April. The blue...More

We always like to do do one of these tours when visiting a new place. The red line Fiesole route is great, but buses are infrequent (winter timetable). The ticket also includes local buses.

We have done a lot of these in other cities and this is not the best. Good way to see outskirts of city. Audio is limited...mostly music. When the information does come on it is often out of time with when you drive by the...More

The start point of these tours is just down from the main railway station (look for a Bata shop and the bus stops are virtually outside). The company run two routes – the Blue Route (Line A) and the Red Route (Line B). Line A...More

Caught bus opposite train station. Bought tickets from bus company, excellent value for money. Excellent way of getting to know Florence before exploring further on foot. Guide helpful and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend for those who have never been to Florence before.

We bought tickets from a kiosk on the street for €23 each. Got to say well worth the money! Easy way to get around Florence and many sights can be seen. Would definitely recommend.

This is probably the worst Hop On Hop Off tour I've been on. I waited at one of the stops for 2 hours with no success. I had to walk to another stop about 15 minutes away before I was able to hop on. One...More

Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the
majority of the people arriving in Florence, which
might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists
come across the constant hustle and bustle of the
station before exiting, taking a few steps and
stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It
is impossible not to admire the the square, housing
one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
