About
MUS.E is located inside Palazzo Vecchio, one of its best known iconic monuments and the most important civic museum of Florence as well. Today, in the fastous halls of Cosimo’s Court are located also the activities of the Museo dei Ragazzi: there are two small theatres, one called the Stanza delle Storie di Bia e Garcia for younger visitors (from 3 to 7), and the other, known as the Civiltà del Rinascimento a Firenze for older children; the Museum also offers a large multimedia zone, a workshop for painting activities and an area devoted to games for exploring perspective.

Very interesting guided tour
Aug 2021 • Friends
We did the guided tour of the secret passage (Saturday 10:30am) with our super guide Tomazzo and it was wonderful ! Tomazzo is full of energy. He gaves y’a lots of nice info on the palace and the place we visited. He answered to all the questions of our group. I assumed the general tour with him is also amazing. He didn’t saw the hour and would have continue for another one ! Really an added value. We recommend the guided tour in English.

Palazzo Vecchio organized through Mus.e
Aug 2021 • Family
The Mus.e team very helpfully reserved our spots in the “Favola della tartaruga con la vela” at the Palazzo Vecchio, with only one day’s notice. It was seamless arranged on email and we paid for/collected our tickets at the museum on the day. The event itself was wonderful - our son loved the story and the “turtle hunt”. The docent was well-informed and pleasant. Thanks!’

Interesting use of Palace
Mar 2020
Luca, our guide, introduced us to this Palace and explained the history and what happened to the owner, who was at one time as rich as Medicis but lost his wealth. The City took it over and use it for art works.

OK
Dec 2019
This is one of the few places in Florence that didn't fascinate me. I know I'm in the minority, but I suppose the Medicis history just didn't grab me in this format. Your mileage may vary.

La Botanical Di Leonardo
Nov 2019 • Couples
This exhibit is terrible; an example of conceptual art for the sake of conceptual art. There are no actual Da Vinci artifacts on display. The specific exhibits have a Da Vinci “skin” so to speak, but no essential connection to his work or insights. This was very disappointing.

The Leonardo exhibit is in the church of Santa Maria Novella. This church is definitely worth a visit and has good exhibits.

Palazzo Vecchio - a must see!
Oct 2019
We enjoyed wandering through the museum and viewing the enormous works of art. At times it was crammed with tours, in some rooms it was difficult to walk through. We did not pre-purchase our tickets it was a last-minute decision. We were able to walk right in without queuing for tickets. We were very pleased with the overall experience. We would recommend visiting this museum.

Some of the museums that we visited under their care Museo di Palazzo Vecchio, Museo Novecento, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Santa Maria Novella, Museo Leonardiano (in Vinci). All of these museums are well run
