Beautiful to walk around here at any time of day but especially in the evening. Musicians playing adds to the atmosphere and if you want to sit and admire the Dome or sit and enjoy a drink at one of the many bars it's great...More

This Piazza is pretty remarkable. The Church, Duomo, and the golden doors are all remarkable. If you are in Florence this is the main tourist spot to see!

a glorious building.. A tip for all travellers if you wish to the cupola you must make a reservation when buying your tickets for the museums as this is the only way you can have access to it.

We chanced upon the Piazza del Duomo from a side street and immediately just stopped in our tracks, the building is so imposing of beauty, very very crowded Piazza with Tourists.

We stayed in the hotel spadai across from the Medici palace, what a view. Everywhere you turn in this extraordinary city is spectacular. The duomo is amazing, highly recommend. My family still lives in Venice and we cannot wait for our next trip to Florence.

Very nice experience, it is not as amazing inside as outside but it is a must in Florence. The church is all covered with pink, green and white marble.

One of the busiest squares in Florence so it is a great place to people watch. Would you believe a yoga class led by two costumed gorillas on a Saturday night?

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city

Hello! This is a square, so it is accessible for wheelchairs. About bathrooms for wheelchair users, I am not 100% sure, but probably they exist at the ticket office in the square and also at the museum for the Dome art... More
