Amazing tour - we learnt so much. Entire history of Florence along with the history of the Medici family was explained.
The tour was well paced - starting at Santa Maria Novella and passing through the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio and last stop was Ponte Vencchio.
Our guide was a student of arts and a certified tour guide and explained everything sooo well.
We took this tour on the second day in Florence, but recommend to do on Day 1 so when u visit the sites individually later on, you have a better understanding.

We went on a 4pm tour with Manuel Messina - such a great tour and a perfect guide . It was not a typical city tour - he was showing us some hidden gems and teaching how to look for more cultural/historical sign everywhere in the city. Well, it helps that the city is absolutely amazing and has a fascinating history. My kids loved the tour that we did on our first day in the city. The rest of the vacation they would look for the "hidden" signs and that alone was worth it. At the end of the tour he gave us a list of places to see, foods to eat, things to try. It was very helpful the rest of the trip.

We were 6 people part of a large tour with Manuel. We enjoyed it very much. Manuel told the story in a very attracting and binding way and we felt like being in that era for few hours. We are still talking about it and would highly recommend everyone to book a tour with him. Well done Manuel.

Manuel Massina walking tour was incredible. He was engaging, entertaining, informative, humorous, historical details of culture, renaissance period, main families and artists & much more.
Manuel told a story of Florentine daily life and experiences. Details that are easily missed and explanations of important features on the buildings and street corners and piazzas.
Fully recommend Manuel as a tour guide with a difference.

eleonora and Andrea for the morning and afternoon tours were amazing. so knowledgable and clear in walking us through the history or Florence, Tuscany and the Medici family.
I had no idea about anything in florence and when i walled away i had a good grasp of the city, its history and its culture. It gave me a brilliant introduction to the reat of my stay.
Highly recommend!

This was an Eventbrite free walking tour. Elisabetta was our guide and she was superb bringing to life the influence of the Medici family in the heart of Florence.
She was full of knowledge and delivered it in a most accessible manner. From my experience she is at the top of her tree.

My partner and I took Deborah's walking tour (Renaissance and Medici Tales), and she is an excellent guide. She is a great storyteller, giving surprising and compelling historical insights about Florence, its significant people and places. She has a good sense of humour, keeps the tour moving, and was very responsive to questions during the walks from location to location. We feel like we really got to know her, which made it all the more special. Her final story about the last Medici 'queen' and the end of the Medici dynasty was very moving, and put our whole experience in Florence into context. We even got tips on how to find the best food, drinks and gelato in the city, and what attractions to skip(!!). Highly recommended.

I had such a great experience on the 2 free walking tours I went on. They were both really engaging and informative, perfect for if you want to used to the city and understand the story behind the amazing architecture. It was really animated for me which I loved.
I also think it's brilliant that they are still going during 'quiet season' as well.
On top of all that the lady gave me tips of good places to eat and drink depending on my preference.
Really would recommend.

We did the oltrarno tour with Elisabetta. During a very entertaining 2 and a half hours, she gave a lot of very interesting information about all there is to see on and around the piazza della signoria and the palazzo pitti. Her enthusiasm and knowledge have made this tour the perfect entry to the city.
