this is an historic pharmacy that does make a few exceptional iconic products, but most of the range of goods are not up to par in terms of the cost and please refer to the ingredients before buying. I dopick up aqua profumata here and a couple other fragrances, but other farmacia are better.

Well worth a visit. it is a shop but you can walk around appreciate the amazing interiors. Originally part of the Santa Maria Novella church now separate. Stunning interiors. There is no pressure at all to buy they are happy to let you browse bu we did shop and found the staff to be very friendly, polite and helpful and for what is on offer not silly prices.

I was so glad a friend had told me about this place before I went to Florence as if I had missed it I would have missed out on a real treasure. It has one room where they don't sell anything just go in to admire the frescoes. I did buy goods though - they sell wonderful fragrances there.

Like many others in Florence, the building where this shop is located is absolutely beautiful. Antique pharmacy cabinets and equipments make it a trip to the past. However, it's still a shop and as such should pay more attention to customer service. The lady helping me was clearly impatient - probably thinking I was not going to buy anything. When I picked my (not that cheap, mind you) Cologne, she could not hide her surprise and instantly started to treat me better. Sad...
