Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed.

We spent a magical evening listening to the incredible Claudia, Alessandra and David perform arias from famous operas in the intimate St. Mark's Church. It was the perfect venue for this delightful program. Not to be missed!

St Marks Anglican Church, via Maggiore, near the Pitti Palace, is a very pleasant and intimate space in which to enjoy Opera. They do different productions most nights of the week. They have their own website and their flyers should be available in your Hotel....More

What a fabulous experience in Florence! I’ve read some of the negative reviews and I don’t understand what people were expecting. This is a very intimate setting in an old church built in the 1800s, don’t expect Lincoln Center and the Met which I’ve been...More

Last week was my second time at this opera, and it certainly did not disappoint. The singers are magnificent, as is Franz who plays piano and narrates. You really cannot miss this show when you're in Florence! It's a truly beautiful experience. Thank you for...More

If you're undecided about whether to book tickets at St Mark's, don't be. We saw Madame Butterfly here on the 26th September and it took my breath away. It's a relatively small setting, but the acoustics of this chapel are incredible. The performances were some...More

Very much overated. High disappointment. Watched La Traviata. Ruined my evening. 1. Piano kept bothered me from the beginning to the end. Piano itself sounded not tuned. Piano was the only instrument played, but seemed playing separately from the show. The pianist seemed not understand...More

We attended the Love Duets performance, a selection of famous opera duets. The whole logistical process was easy and well executed. The location is on via Maggio, just on the "other side of the river", the Oltrarno area, and we had time to get a...More

Santo Spirito / San Frediano
A warm evening with a cocktail in your hand and great
company is the ideal way to experience Piazza Santo
Spirito; the area is busiest at sunset for happy hour.
Visitors cannot hide their astonishment sitting on the
staircase under the Basilica of Santo Spirito, and
they cannot help but stare at the architectural
masterpieces like Bianca Cappello House, Fontana dello
Sprone and San Frediano in Cestello and Santa Maria
