Iguarnieri do contemporary art in Florence, working as the old masters, what means: "at the traditional studio". My brother and I with others artist and collaborators make paintings with antique and modern techniques, for the art lovers as us that love Italian art and beauty. The history, the culture, the experience from the past and our loves, Giotto's Bottega, Botticelli's damsels, Modigliani's nudes, Picasso's Portraits, Andy Warhol and The Factory, the Turner's atmosphere, becoming contemporary art.

We visited the gallery as a group and we were instantly greeted by Roberto Guarnieri. He was very nice and humble, and patient to explain us every detail and process of the art. We found it very interesting and one-of-a-kind. It's like 2 in 1, engraving and painting an art on frame you can take home. Simply amazing! Get the... More

What an amazing surprise when we walked in the Iguarnieri studio. My jaw dropped and I couldn't believe what I was seeing and how I was feeling. It was like the paintings all around were talking to me. And then, we started talking with Roberto and we discovered a very special human being that touched us as much through his... More

We found the Art Gallery Studio Iguarnieri by chance on our recent trip to Florence. We're very glad we did. The fresco paintings are beautiful. The commentary by Roberto, one of the artists was engaging and informative, as he explained the method of creating a fresco painting. Having the opportunity to meet, talk with Roberto and view the gorgeous artwork... More

Such a great studio, great artists: modern/contemporary and classical at the same time. Paintings, sculptures, interior design, customized furnishing, philosophy, friendship, red wine, are only some of the most important things you'll find at Art Gallery Iguarnieri!

Florence has many galleries, but Iguarnieri sticks foremost in my mind for an overall experience. At the gallery I met Roberto, one of the galleries' artists. Roberto has an obvious passion for his artwork and his city. He readily shares information about how he works with traditional techniques to create fresh new interpretations. The studio caught my attention as I... More

Visit the studio if you are looking for something unusual in the realm of fresco art, stainless steel or wood sculpture, oil or acrylic paintings etc. The Iguarnieri brothers are always creating something new.

These two Brothers Roberto and Rodolfo are a must meet and see if you love Art and are tired of trudging through commercialized Art Galleries. We were introduced to them through our Concierge when we noticed some of their Art in the Villa we stayed at . We ended up purchasing 6 pieces and had a great time doing it.... More

Staying in Piazzale Michelangelo

Neighborhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!
